Thats funny. When we were at the Rodeo I took a picture of our local photographer because he has this huge freaking zoom and I plan on begging for one in the future. Anyway, two days later there was a pic of me and my son sitting in the grand stands. He must have taken it right before or after I took his. The caption was just about how many spectators there were. I don't know if rules are different for the press as there are people/kids in our paper all the time without their names. I know that if we enter a competition around here and the shot is of a person, we have to have a release unless they are family.

Hmmm. Dont like the B&W. Do like the color but its almost to colorful (saturated? I'm still learning the terminology) but it does look like the path I would choose if given that choice on a hike. I really do like the last one because for me, it represents the west. Looks like tumble weeds, sage, worn out wood and high desert. I would expect bandits to meet me around that bend, make off with my horse and leave me walking my ass back to the nearest trading post. Nuff for now. Must sleep.... I like #1. She looks so intent and the lighting is great. #2 looks off to me, too much hand (coming at you) and light. I think in the B&W looses something like the pastel of her shirt and the light.

It may just be my connection here but I can only see the thumb for your corrected upload. I can tell from the teenie tiny pic that it looks much better without the green writing and I think the shot goes perfectly with the song. Great entry! J
