Thread: Conforming problem... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
When you have a morph for say the chest of your character, you can't then apply the same morph to a shirt he or she is wearing. you can use the magnets to make a morph for the clothes though. I suggest going to Travellers Morph World... http://morphs.bbay.com/main.html There are some excellent tutorils for using magnets there :) Hope this helps! Styxx
Thread: A plea to modellers to reduce polygon counts | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What is a good poly count for a conforming outfit? I try to keep mine under 50,000 for the entire outfit. Is that too much? I run 512mg of ram so it is hard for me to tell how much is too much. I have quite a few beta testers though and they have never told me the outfits choked their systems. Please let me know how much is too much and I will see if I can stay within that budget. Thanks Styxx
Thread: New To The Game and Looking For Some Help | Forum: Poser Technical
Most zip files will contain a "readme.txt" file that will explain how to get the files into Poser. Most of them also have the paths built right into them. If they do, you just extract the zip to your Poser4 directory. Either way, check first for a readme file. Hope this helps :) Styxx
Thread: Poser to Bryce pastiness? Help? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
First thing ya want to do is make sure the ambience is turned right down. For some reason, Poser textures import to bryce with it turned up. Then try a bit of specularity with the spec color a deep brown. I find this helps. Hope it helps you too :) Styxx

Thread: Missing eyelash dial | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
check out Morph Manager, you can copy the eyelash morph from Posette to Thornes character as long as the doll had a standard P4 head. I haven't gotten any of Thirnes amazing creations yet so I'm not sure. Give it a go though.. should work fine :) Styxx
Thread: "curve" question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
open up a cr2 in your text program and copy the lines with the curve command in them. Then paste them into your cr2. I used the rapters tail. :) You may want to use CR2 Editor though, easier than a text editor... Hope this helps!
