@ wendyvainity: Your lighting is actually quite good, and the skin render isn't all that bad either. But the animation needs a lot more work.
@ diomede: I don't know how good Dinner For Two is, because you show only a brief trailer. But regardless of how good it is, I don't believe it's a match to this: See Link.

I assume you made it since you shared it, otherwise I could share plenty of awesome Carrara videos by others not me,
and even so I doubt you made it in the short time I took to whip up my silly video
which was the point, a challenge
I have plenty of videos too I put lots of hours into and my animation in iClone would look just as bad by the way, it's not the software it's the user.

well I did just think of another thing you can try
track modifiers
have your animals bones track the V4 M4 bones
you may need to turn off limits and also use target helpers due to differences in rigging

there are people who still use Truespace and even Bryce!
this is a Carrara subforum, people who still use Carrara come here sometimes, most know there is other software out there, there really is no need to keep trying to tell us it is dead, just use your software of choice and move on.
I do indeed myself use iClone and even Blender but am not spruiking them here unless it is to get something in or out of Carrara from them.

I started my 3D experience with iClone 3 in 2009
I have iC6 but still prefer Carrara as most people who visit this Carrara forum would ☝️?

yes and on iPad too now as well as Chrome on my PC
it was very frustrating and I somehow doubt I was continually using the wrong password as logged in many times before.
I actually think it was an old saved password replacing it.
