Just texturing a Laser cannon (several) to put on the hillside. I thought about them shooting back. There's alot more things to do, rocks, trees, cannons, laser blasts and explosions. The dishes are for porn (or a data link to the Emperor). ;) The shy is there because it renders fast, (will change later). I know this is going to be a long render, (lots of volume mats), so wish my 'puter a long life. Thanks for the C&C, keep them coming......

Thanks guys. I got a handle on this. I was doing everything right except I was trying to link the dispersal of the trees to just a certain area. As soon a Striving set me straight on that I was making trees to beat the band. Also in that time I made several different versions of what I'm working on. I'll post under a new subject header for others who are not in this thread. Again, thanks for the help.

Don't feel bad. I'm in the same boat. Been out of work for 17 months now and were scrapeing the bottom of the barrel now. One thing we have going for us is I helped the wife finish school. She now has a degree in Business Management. Some day our ship will come in, (before we become homeless to).

AS, that's the first thing I tried to do. BOOMER wants the streaks and all. I couldn't get the tolerance in Photoshop down low enough to seperate the two. What could be done is to get the darkest part of the rust and paint in the streaks. A very long and teadious process.

I was thinking of a winter scene myself. Being from Minnesota and all. I went on a hunt to find some winter coats for Poser and came up empty handed. Anybody know where I could get such freebies? Swade, great job on this scene. I just looked out the window to two inches of fresh snow. Now it starts, ish.
