Untill now my renders where always better than the previeuw, so I really cannot comment on this one. Have you tried the P5 and the P4 render engines? It could be better in the P4 renderer as it is usually "scharper" than the P5 renderer. I will give it a go later on. Tony

Hello, nice try. I have the same remarks as on all Judys that went trough the faceroom. The outcoming face is too small and headscale has to go up to 105%. Cleavage looks flattened. Hope this helps, Tony

I start by using a "good" texture, say 4000x4000 for Posette. Then use the same texture as a slight bump map and again the same as a reflective map. This way Poser only has to load one texture and by playing with the settings you should get a nice result. Tony

In the material room you should be able to select the base color and the tip color. Trick, import a standard haid from the library, open the material room and take a look at the colors. This should give you a hint Tony

Thread: vote on wether breasts are better on collar or chest | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You may all make a big Joke out of this but.... You could also show some respect for the person and the question. At last, someone is asking us how we prefer our models. Blow this once, and you will not get a second chance. You all blew CL out of this forum, Then Anton, please don't let me stop you now Just some thoughts I would like to give you before I go to sleep. Its way past midnight here.

Update : still on the chest but, for the up and down movement with the collars you can experiment wth the joint editor zones of the collars to get them going (walking, moving, you know what I mean). Good luck, Tony

Chest please. The idea is simple. You can export the chest, take it to "something" else(3d app), morph it, save it and bring it back to poser with a better control on the symetry. Also, it is rather usefull this way to create clothes, like tops and bra's wtih this exported group. Personally, I'd go for the chest. I'v regrouped the P2 woman and Judy this way too, and am rather pleased with the result. Those whom are "spoiled" LOL with the V"s will opt for the collars, the others that use Posette and frinds will prefer Chest. Also ceep in mind that only a small portion of the Poser users come regulary to the forums, and most of the outside users "play" with Posette and Judy. More important, as regrouping is not all that hard, is reality. Don't make balloons. Don't point them skywards (as most do). Take a good look around and look where they would be on the real woman. Imagine their position with and without a bra. I would opt for rather small breasts to begin with. It is easier to enlarge them than it is to reduce them. A long replay but I hope it was worth it. Greetings, Tony

Try to put some fabric bump map om the couch. It will is the largest and single most important part of the image , and it is too even, euh too plastic. Also, I sugest reducing its Y size, seem a little high. The figures are OK, but I don't see the shadows of the clothes. You reduce depth this way. Shadow are strange. Most come from a light on the right, and the window is on the left. Hope this helps a bit, Tony

Thread: *in shock* This is an expensive hobby! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thats the problem. Every new model kosts, and needs new clothes, new shoes, new.... I am afraid of Daz Studio too. The renderer for free is a nice offer, but, you pay for every plug in... every option. Its like you get the steering wheel of a car for free. Pay for the tires, pay for the engine, would like to close it with a door that you pay and then you don't even get the seats(unless you pay for them too)and so on.... In the end, after adding up, you could get a surprice. I see great renderings from after market models but stick to the standard figures as the P4-Lo, Posette and Judy ones using a lot of magnets to get them to my taste. And there is a lot of quality free stuff out there. Many thanks to all those hard workers. Just for fun or hobby, no doubt about it, it can get out of hand this way. Just my humble opinion. Tony

Thread: Question on strange forum behavior | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I recently removed some of my pictures as unfortunately the relationship with the model that I used for the textures broke up. just out of respect for her, nothing to do with Poser or the comunity.
