I exclusively use Posette and her little sister, the P4-Lo female and male figures. Tried Judy but gave up on her. Jim Burton did an exellent job on improving Posette, and I am tweaking this one to my taste right now. (do a search on Posette 2003). With 4000x4000 textures and the right morphs you can even fool Vic1-2-3- to ask herself : Mirror, mirror on the wall.... And as sead before, easy om the memory, more fun to play with, and far quicker in the renders. Small remark on the fine picture ; the legs seem too long and I think the skirt is too high up the abdomen. Great texture work on the top and the skirt. Greetings, Tony PS: anyone tried to put 3 or more Vic's is a scene, give them all some kind of dynamic hair, some clothes, props and backgound and try to render???

Who an I to respond, but : most of the users are mostly upset by the lack of active feedback by CL. Let it be this forum, another, or at the CL website, but give feedback to your customers. 1. Knowing that your problem report has been read. 2. Knowing that someone is looking at it. 3. Getting a response or a question for more specific info. 4. Just knowing that CL is working on it would stop most of the agressive talk. I can not complain. On my Athlon 1000 with 393 Ram and ATI card, it works. Slower as P4, but not by mutch, and no hang -ups since beta 5. Give your clients a time-table. A priority list. My personal priority would be the face room, but my system works OK. There are people crying to get P5 to load properly, or to render properly. They schould come on the first spot, but I would like to know when it is my turn. Trying to be helpfull, Tony

Second thing Make a Jacket. Import the object, go to the setup room, import the P4 bonestructure, hours of grouping pleasure as the autogroup is for Judy, weld the things, and return to the pose room. Now open the properties and see : the jacket has fingers, and toes, and shins etc. Even if you only gave it a chest, abdomen, and a hip. Delete the other bones and you are in deep ...trouble. My solution : I use smart props a lot. For tops and skirts. When imported you have an option , not sure about the name, "use bends of parent". It then uses the bends of the parent and its next higher and lower parts. Parent to the hip and the skirt moves as the legs move, or when the abdomen moves. It does not listen to the chest or shins any more. Try it and you will see what I mean. Tony

One major problem that I mentioned before. The setup room should use the bonestructure and the autogrouping that belongs to the selected bonestructure. Example ; If you load a P4 figure, Hi or Lo, or a P3 figure, you have one chest with both breasts on it. The autogroup function "thinks" you are working on Judy by default. hate it , hate it, hate it. I work mostly with Posette and her sister, the P4-Lo figure, and it drives me mad. Every new item i fabricate, I have hours of grouping to do; hate it. And then weld them all. The welding should be automatic. Unbelievable mistake of CL. The selected bonestructure and the autogroup function should work hand in hand.
