Oh, if you don't have Poser 6 then the video card is irrelevant. If you can see a picture at all on the screen then it will work for PP or Poser 5.

I have an Nvidea GeForce FX 5200 that seems to work great for me. You can probably up pick something similar at CompUSA, that's where I bought mine. I think it cost around $70. Also Like Sams says, you might want to get a bigger hard drive. I have a 160 GB internal and a 250 GB external drive. And also more memory, like 1 GB. You didn't say what kind of processor you have. That is also important. I have a 2.8 GHz Pentium 4. With that I get pretty good rendering speeds.
Thread: Eroko fits well in V3's Dynamic clothes. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Poser 6's cloth room is great, I can put all kinds of dynamic clothing on just about any figure I want to. Or even the object files of a lot of conforming clothing. No offense to the makers of Wardrobe Wizard, but with Poser 6's cloth room, I haven't found a need for it. Plus the clothes flow better in animations than conforming clothes do.

Morphs? One nice thing about Michael 2 is the stock morphs are built in so you don't have to fool around with injecting them like you do with Michael 3. Haven't really seen that many custom morphs for him though. Anything in particular there is an interest in?

Yes, I agree with beryld, dump Bryce and buy Vue. Much easier to import Poser content and much easier to use. Costs more, but you get what you pay for.

As an alternative, paste you picture on a single sided square and scale the square to a usable size.

In fact if you have Poser 5 or Poser 6 keeping P4 files can be dangerous because they can cause the program to crash. Probably because it is looking for the .bum files it can't find. When I install something I immediately delete all the P4 content so I don't accidentally click on something and crash the program.
Thread: Figure/Element display style question. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Koz's hair is hard programmed in the wire frame style. You have to go into the hr2 or cr2 itself and change it. Using your favorite editing program, do a search for the keyword displayMode WIREFRAME and change WIREFRAME to USEPARENT. Do this for every instance. Be sure to make a back-up in case you screw something up.

He seemed rather annoyed by the slowness of the forum. Maybe he just finally got too fed up with it.

Yeah, I just recently bought a USB external 250 GB hard drive for $200, that should take a while to fill up. Seems to run just as fast as the internal drive.
