" Yes, I know I SHOULD have it, or at least I THOUGHT I should have it - my problem is that it isn't there when I do what the petersharpe tutorial says: "Apply the eyelash texture map. The picture editor should look like this:" with a pic, only mine doesn't - in my version of Bryce, there's nothing there. I've discovered how to save it - but only as a .obp - ie an Object Preset. Not as the manual SAID it would be - a dxf object, unfortunately. This is very limiting, I was wondering if Bryce5 is any better at this? Fran

By the way, I now only seem to be getting new post notifications in BRYCE forum - even though all the other forums I had initially put "Yes" on are still showing that in the foums list but not in the forums themselves. Bryce too shows "Yes" outside the forum, and "No" inside the forum itself.... Yet that one's still sending out New Post notifications... Weird huh? Fran

Phantast is no help he/she just has instructions on HOW to do things, he/she is also assuming that you already have the .jpg/textures/transparency maps - whatever it is that you need - well I looked where it/they are supposed to be and there's nothing there, so obviously I need to find whatever it is... jocko500, Personally I have no objection to that, not that my model is up to much - I was just mucking about. The real problem is I don't know how to export it from Bryce4. (gg) Silly I know, I've just never had occasion to do that before. (shrug) Fran

Should I figure out how to pose the figure in the position I finally want her in first, or do I get the clothing to fit first? I'd need to know what figure to begin with, as it's no good spending months posing a figure only to find out that no suitable clothing will fit her - is it? And she'll need hair - a bald bloke you can (more or less) get away with, but not a bald female. I knew it was a mistake coming up with ideas for scenes that use figures. (sigh) Fran

Carolly, "Hey! That is a big step! {hug}" Thanks, I'm so chuffed! "Not everything on Phil's site requires watching video... at least IIRC there was some regular text-type info." Really? I didn't know that, I only found out about the existance of PhilC via a link someone sent/showed me - so all I saw was the frustrating video that wouldn't load properly - plus a link at the bottom to BUY sumat - being in the desperately poor bracket at the mo, I declined to buy, and it didn't go anywhere else. As to Nerd... I did download a riverbank thing from there a while ago, dunno how to use it though - but I have got the bits into Poser - I noticed while desperately hunting for something or other in Poser yesterday... Um.... I suppose we couldn't try getting that bikini to go onto some female figure - could we? (hopeful expression) Fran
