Well, thanks for the concern we are expecting a miracle! We have had quite a few already , the main one to find you lovely lot, and Jim's family mean that .
Do you know Atoxic even sent an ambulance from the Germany to Bath England to attend the accident .
A kind gesture !
Apple_UK another wonderful team member supplied an intensive care unit.
The animation world can be so kind.
As my wonderful Guru said "Help Ever Hurt Never"

Thanks Laurie I will be more receptive next time I have come to the forum, hacking my way through back threads, whilst trying to get Jim (animation caracter out of intensive care)!

Just as well I got this reply from 3D World Steve Jarrat //
Try doing some research before emailing the wrong magazine.
Great PR Steve!!

From the lay persons point of view it seems as though, Poser will be available and improving.
Thats all I ask for from a software program.
Small point a free download for poser

A question, if I may.
What are the Poser development team doing to improve the rendering opportunities? do you have any idea,
I have invested quite a lot of time and money in trying to get a handle on animation with Poser ,
The animators that I have made contact with through this forum have been most helpful.
However am I about to be told , " You should have used another program?"
Do you think Poser has a software future ?
Poser is just starting to produce interesting results for my education human values program.
Many of the render problems I have had seem to be settling down.
However I can see there will be a time for translucent images , glass reflections and lots of other texture formats. Will I be able to render these in Poser when I get more experience?
I would be grateful for any comments.

Practise makes perfect.
10% talent 90 % practise.
100% conviction.
Off to the studio to practise !

Try bringing the image into the stage and saving that.
Are you trying to add the render image to the Library ?
If you are try going back to the image that your loading and add before render.
Of course I may have misunderstood the question you asked, in that case I am sure you will ignore this superfluous advice.

Quote - There is an open-source version of GlowWorm...

EDIT-I should add that the scripts are under the Source tab, and ideally you need Subversion installed to download it, although you can view the scripts in a browser...
As far as render times go,I remember it taking several seconds to merely display a peg image on a 486 machine...
Yes But I am New boy so ,I misguidedly thought when I purchased my Mac Book Pro a paid £2000
for the machine I thought it could at least render Poser 8 fairly quickly .
What a fool I am.
A fool and his money are easily parted!

Thank you I will look at this option ASAP when I have finished the present render , probably around Christmas time.
Perhaps I should open a topic .
What do you do between renders?
One day like the Ford T the render times today will become a historical joke .
Sorry Ford T owners I think you have great cars.
