Did you try entering the promo code in the coupon space? That worked for me.

I got the email Thursday, went and logged in, and no place to enter the code. I think I ended up going to my cart, and finding the order there, and entering the coupon code at the bottom, like a regular purchase. The order was incorrect, said upgrade from Pro 2010, not sidegrade from Poser 8. Not a problem anyway. You kind of have to jump through hoops from time to time with Smith Micro, but in the end it is worth it. Should have it all downloaded shortly. Slow speed is no doubt everyone wanting to be first, and in my case, living in a college town.

You are aware that if you get too close to a van Gogh you will see that it is just squiggly lines of paint? I have spent almost 40 years in the medical field. Yes, the models are far less than perfect. But they are just part of the scene. If you pick on each individual part, you are left having to say that a painting is nothing more than squiggly lines.

Poser is a low end modeling tool. If you want better, you have to pay more. I cannot afford the more expensive programs. Poser fulfills my needs. Like comparing a BMW to a Geo Metro. Both serve different needs. Why not make a better model, or better, a series. I probably would buy them.

I can't draw a straight line with a ruler. It's a real problem, and all the classes in the world won't fix it. I was a very good film photographer. Am not comfortable with digital photography. I did own a box of crayons once. Poser lets me express myself visually. I don't call it art. Just illustration. Not my place to condemn other's work. I'm working on getting better at my own.

It's affordable, easy to use, and there are a lot of great people willing to help beginners.

Make another Vicky item, someone might buy it from you,  or another Vicky item from someone else. Next time, they might buy another Vicky item from you, or from someone else.  Make something unique, and people can only buy it from you, and might be back for more.

I like what you did. My problem is lack of time. I have a full time job. Lack of experience and an econobox for a computer means it takes longer for me to accomplish simple tasks. (PP 2012 in the near future, more robust computer a little farther off.) Budget means all work is in Poser.

I'll try your approach, see how I can tweek it. The time it takes to scale clothes also will probably kill the deal for me. Another problem is that I know human anatomomy quite intimately, and looking at these models close up makes my skin crawl.

I despair of merchants doing anything but Vicky and Genesis in the near future.  Daz has been too profitable to give up. Antonia is generating some interest. But the market is still Vicky and a few other things.

Included is a quick render of 4 Vicky's (not nude) in a temple with a sword. Note: I am not an artist, and am still learning the software. Done in Poser 8.  Left to right 105%, regular, 90%, and 80%. Yes, it's not perfect, but throw them in the scene with clothing props and morphs, and it is better than nothing.

Feel free to ignore me. I'm a newbie here, and most everyone does.

Norman Rockwell did not consider himself an artist. He considered himself an illustrator. Basically, that is what I do. I create images that best capture what I want. If you don't think it's art, well, neither do I. If you think it is, well, that's just your opinion . I posted a couple images earlier, but there was little interest, so I haven't posted here in a while. Might eventually.

Thank you for showing this. The process for scanning the hand was very interesting. Not that many years later, I was playing around with an early CAT scanner.
