Oh, my god. All those numbers. You scare me. Sounds very difficult to me. Must be a very big object in the end with so many polygones. But I am very happy to hear, that there will be my beloved arches in it. :)))

Yeah, really looks pretty good to me. :)) I guess the floor is not finished yet, for I see a gap between floor and wall and the texture looks a bit blurred. The modelling is great (only some stones on top look very sharp and equal). Must sound impertinent to hear this comment from someone who never modelled outside Vue - but you asked for feedback. :)))) Another thing which is purely a matter of taste: In this old ruins I always expect windows like arches. Would be wonderful to see at least a rest of those stone arches. But I imagine, that this is hard to realize. Very looking forward to your progresses. You are on the good way. Britta

Wonderful modelling. I also would love to see an abbey ruin. Another thing I would appreciate very much is "Carcassone" in France. I can send lots of photos if you like.

You are perfectly right, rodluc. I always work with intuition, so for me the function of 3DS is much too abstract. Too many numbers (or is it figures?). As an absolute looser on mathematics this horrifies me. LOL. And yes: It is much to expensive. I have downloaded the Silo Learning Version, which I found much easier and very well explained. It is a full function version without time limit. I guess it is not so powerful as 3DS Max, but as I said, it is easier to use and costs only about 100 Dollars. In case somebody not knows and is interested I add the link.Thread: what do you think about this... | Forum: Vue
Looks already very professional to me. My compliments. I tried 3DS Max, but I found it most difficult.

@Agiel: Shit happens - to everybody. Don't worry about it. My congrats to the new winner "rodluc" :), and still to "nanotyrannos" who now is second winner. Both pictures are excellent - concering idea and technical abilities. In my opinion it was only a question of taste which one made the first place. :)

First of all I must say, that I am very glad, that this contest is anonymous and that one cannot vote for his own picture. This is only fair. My choice is picture 12. :)

You are funny, rodluc. I am not a genius in learning languages. I never learned spanish and my italian is only good enough to order a pizza.:) Io capisco qualque words in italiano, ma non so parlare e scritare. I am really not sure, what I wrote right now. It is all mixed up I am afraid.
