Hi Spirit_au,
Most of the content type products available at Renderosity are downloadable products.
We have some shippables but these are generally books and boxed software.
Each products promotional page will indicate if it is a "Shippable Product" or a "Digital Product".
In regards to Poser 7.
You need to look at the System Requirements for the product to determine what version of Poser or software application it will work with.

A modeling program such as 3D Studio MAX, Lightwave, Cinema 4D. etc... is what you would need to create clothing.
I'd suggest posting your question in the Poser forum here at Renderosity. I'm sure the Poser community will provide you with a lot of opinions on the best application to use.
