Is it just the fiddly repetition that you object to, setting up many figures with a walk? In that case recording a repeatable mouse-click macro (with the JitBit software or similar) might save you a lot of grunt-work or Python script-hacking. Note that Poser doesn't have a macro recorder (think "Photoshop's Actions") of its own.

Thread: Where all old Renderosity tutorials? | Forum: New Poser Users Help
You'll find the old official and third-party textbooks to borrow via Archive.org (list below). The UI and features are mostly similar, even in recent Poser versions. Though the latest Poser 12 and 13 will require some study to devise the best photoreal preset for your PC's configuration, and there have of course been many improvements and additional features (short video overviews of P11, P12 and P13 may help there). There's also always been the excellent manual that ships with Poser.
* Poser for Dummies: Creating your first, quality render.
* The Poser 5 handbook.
* Secrets of figure creation with Poser 5.
* Practical Poser 6.
* Character Animation with Poser Pro.
* Poser 7 Revealed : The e frontier official guide.
* The Art of Poser and Photoshop : The official guide.
* Practical Poser 8: The Official Guide.
* Figure Drawing with Virtual Models : Getting the most out of Poser.
* Secrets of Poser Experts : Tips, techniques, and insights for users.
Poser also still work with Vue. So Vue books may also interest.

In Poser 11 the real-time Comic Book could have very tiny 'chips' in the line-art. I did a demo which showed how to partially fix this (force a redraw, get very slightly different linework, then composite the two real-time renders in Photoshop after 'knocking out white'). I think this must have been the improvement that was then added for the Comic Book Preview inking lines in Poser 12.
I don't yet know what the improvement is in the new version of Poser 13.
Randy, using Comic Book Preview is really easy. There's a short video here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkN8dN-FtGI It's also trivially easy to use a Firefly preset to get a Firefly line-art render.

Looks good. Anyone know what this one involves, in detail? "Improvements to Comic Book Preview Draw Last feature."

Thread: Vue 15 compatibility | Forum: Vue
Ok, so that'll be the first subscription version for the Mac, by the sound of it. Vue's come a long way since then (though still handles Poser scenes). I guess you either try to install it and see, or get the latest version.

Ah, I see. Here it seems you're trying to do a 360-degree spin-around animation on the X axis? We'll there's my paid-for script in the Store, which gets you an animated 360-degree turnaround animation.
But the basic 'increment a value by one' script for Poser would be...

Thread: Reloading P-11 pro on new PC questions | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Poser 11 had different "whole software" installers. 11.1, 11.2 etc.
11.1 (December 2017) added 3D Animation Path, and had Animation Palette improvements. Auxiliary z-buffer render Firefly switches were broken (missing - so we had to use use Scripts | Partners | Dimension 3D | Render Firefly | Pro Output panel). The last Smith Micro Poser.
11.2 (September 2019) went 64-bit only. New Bondware ownership. Many bug fixes. Auxiliary z-buffer switches restored.
11.3 (March 2020) added support for RTX graphics cards on Windows, and apparently this had to be "20 series". The last Python 2.x Poser, re: scripts. Store Purchase tab added.
Oh, and if you plan to run Poser 11.x and Vue then you want Vue 2016 R5. Vue R4 was buggy with Poser scene import. The latest 'subscription Vue' has no problem with Poser 11 scenes, and its many export options effectively replace the older PoserFusion plugins.
As always, some scripts that ran with Poser 2014 may have problems with Poser 11. Try the free AVfix from the Dutch Poser people, which fixes many version-related script problems.

Thread: Poser 13 on Windows 7? | Forum: Poser 13
Works perfectly on Windows 7. PostFX and the Intel OIDN de-noising work fine too, for me. But any encrypted third-party scripts, purchased from Renderosity, won't run. Windows 7 apparently lacks the required native encryption module.
Also, be aware that Poser 11, 12, 13 can all co-exist happily on the same PC. Later versions will not un-install a previous version.

Thread: Total and Complete Newbie - Help Needed | Forum: Poser 12
The Poser 11 video set is excellent. But if you need books there are some. They're rather old now, but the Internet Archive has scans of good introductory books. Such as Practical Poser 8: The Official Guide; Poser 7 Revealed: the e frontier official guide; The Art of Poser and Photoshop: the official guide. They'll still be valid in terms of the basic Poser UI and workflow.

"all these investments over the years become as so much dust"
Quite the opposite, I'd say. I had no idea that all my Poser content would become so potentially valuable, for making quick 'seed images' for Img2Img in AI image generators, so as to get exactly what I want and to keep a character's appearance stable across different images (which is vital for comics). And we're only just at the start of such things. I fully expect some sort of "Poser character basic render to Photoreal AI render" feature before long (see SDXL 0.9 etc), and hope that the Poser 13/14 devs are considering a 'plug in any AI model' plugin for Poser. All they really need to do there, I'd guess, is make the PostFX panel open to PoserPython - so any script can be run on the render at PostFX time. Including a Python-driven AI.
The other way that AI makes Poser more valuable - and this brings the thread back to its original topic - is that I had no idea that over time I'd come to have a quick 'magic background maker' (good AIs such as SDXL). Backdrops for any type of scene, over which the Poser characters can then be rendered.

Thanks, I did look at the main DAZ Studio changelog, but found no mention of the Photoshop Bridge. Perhaps it was just a re-compile, then.

Thread: The Bridge to Photoshop has been blow up. | Forum: DAZ|Studio
When I last looked/downloaded, the latest official free Photoshop Bridge 32-bit installer (2022) in the DAZ Product Library was 1.13.0.17_Win32.exe
But I see that at July 2023 the current 32-bit installer there is now DS4_3DBridge_1.14.0.5_Win32.exe - so they've updated it from when I last looked. Not tested, as I don't want to disturb my working setup.
Access the installers via: DAZ Store | My Account | Product Library, search for Photoshop. There's no changelog (both 64-bit and 32-bit are updated), but presumably something has changed from 1.13.x to 1.14.x
