HUH... I finally got my Bryce 5.5 work again:) Thanks helping I'm now much more wiser of what can I do with these programs... check my gallery someday to see the fruits of this new awareness:)

okay thanks for helping.. lot of useful information:) But what the he** happened to my Bryce? I installed the dazStudio as you advised but then my Bryce 5.5 won't start anymore and following error message pops up: starting point of a procedure ?getAmbientColor@DzDefaultMaterial@@QBEAVDzColor@@XZ can't be found from a dynamically linked library dzcorre.dll (free translation from finnish) I tried re-installing Bryce... no use.
