Oh, I've used a straight razor too--back when I used to reenact Civil War battles and stuff. All I ever managed to do was cut myself while trying to use a beat-up, fire scorched tin plate as a mirror. They don't reflect for crap. It's a nice little razor though, with a bone handle and all that. No nicks in the blade, which makes a huge difference in how much you cut yourself.

Bloodsong-- I made it a "figure" type prop. I didn't think it was possible to make vertices rotate around a point using a morph. I figured if I tried a morph for opening the blade it wouldn't really rotate open, but rather smoosh the blade all up as the vertices get linearly interpolated between the original and morph positions. I've been trying to decide what I want to do with this thing. I think I'll post it to Fun Stuff when I'm finally satisfied that I'm done with it. I was thinking of trying to sell it at first, but I think I'll just kind of beg for donations in the Readme I include with it, maybe there are some people who would use it and take pity on a starving artist. :)
Thread: Question (please Read) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I haven't seen any posable rope, sorry. I would think it would take a LOT of sections to make a decent rope though--considering rope comes in 100 to 150 foot sections usually. In order to have smooth curves you'd have to have to have a "body part" every six inches or so with lots of cross sections in between. All of that being scaled in relation to the Poser people of course. Anyway, I'll let you know if I come across any rope.

I don't know. . . it looks kinda like a beheading axe to me. Of course I may be remembering wrong. Axes aren't my area of speciality. I've always been partial to the Lochebar (sp) Axe though. Looks great to me! Just right for those fantasy kinds of images. I see a hugely muscled barbarian carrying that sucker.
Thread: Changing UV Mapping Coordinates for an OBJ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There are a couple of utilities on the FunStuff pages that will allow you to alter the UV coordinates on an OBJ file. The ones I have tried are MapMagic and SuperMapper. I believe SuperMapper is listed as a UV mapper with multiple regions or something like that. I personally use the two of them together to create texture maps for objects I create. Hope that helps some .. . there are other utilities in Funstuff as well, but I haven't personally tried them, so I can't vouch for them. . . you might give them a go and see what you like.
