You guys must be using an older version of Internet Explorer.  I tried Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer 11.  All the text not hyperlinked are displayed in gray for me.  Either that or your monitor's contrast setting is too low.

From what I can tell just from glancing through lululee's product images, that's what I think it all involves.  Did you click on the word "Here" in my last post?  Any text in white indicates that it is a link.

It's just like musical bands.  Randomly naming a few off the top of my head:  "Atomic Kittens", "Third Eye Blind", "Pearl Jam", "Linkin Park", "Counting Crows", "30 Seconds to Mars", "Vertical Horizon", "Coldplay" . . .   I don't get any impressions.  To me, they only signify a group of musicians and their genre of music.  They don't really mean anything to me other than that.

That involves the material room and learning about bump maps, texture maps, and shaders.

Just download the installers to anywhere on your computer and run it.

To compress the video, download and install Divx or Xvid.  These are what I use.  There are probably other codecs out there that I don't know about.

1.  Load your video in VirtualDub

2.  Choose Video->Compression.  Select the Divx or Xvid codec.

3.  Under the Video menu, make sure Full Processing Mode is selected.

4.  Choose File->Save as AVI to save out to a compressed video.

I also like to save my animations out to an image sequence and just drag and drop the first image in the sequence (e.g. "image_000.png") into VirtualDub and the rest of the images in the sequence will be automatically loaded.  Then under Video->Frame Rate, I choose "Change frame rate to (fps)" and specify the frame rate of the animation set in Poser and I choose "Process all frames" in the Frame rate conversion section of the dialog box and then I select the compression codec and "Save as AVI".

Rendering an indoor scenes in Luxrender was easy, at least it seemed to me.  I didn't think anyone needed a tutorial.  My very first render from LuxRender was an indoor scene.  I had a couple of one-sided squares with ambient value set to greater than 1 in the material room and then I set those materials as emitters when exporting.  That's it.  Then those emitters will show up as lights that you can adjust while you are rendering in LuxRender.   For example, all the lights in this render are just materials on the hanger OBJ with ambient value set to greater than 1 in the Poser material room and set as emitters in Pose2Lux.

Same here.  That's why I'm so glad there is the free Pose2Lux exporter.  In the time it takes for me to get anything close to what I want after all the tweaking and re-rendering with Poser's Firefly, I would have already have a perfect render from LuxRender.   Check out my tutorial on how to use Pose2Lux.  I got some renders in my gallery that you can see what you can do with it.

From the setup you just described, do this:  Open the Animation Palette (Windows-> Animations Palette).   For the second hand, go to the frame where it currently starts moving and set a key frame ("+" button).  Now click on the gray button with a straight line in between the buttons with curvy lines.  The timeline should turn gray, indicating that the hand position will be constant, i.e. "locked".  Now select the key frame you just created and copy it (Ctrl+C).  Now go to the frame where you want the second hand to start moving and paste (Ctrl+V) the keyframe you just copied onto that frame.  Now at the frame where you pasted, click on the brown or green button to the left of the gray button with the straight line.  Now you have moved the point where the second hand starts to move further down the timeline.

Late last year I read a news article about "ransomware".  If your machine gets infected with this malware, all your files will get encrypted and you have to pay a ransom in order to get them decrypted.  If you don't pay the initial ransom demand via Bitcoin, the ransom goes up really high.  Someone paid as much as $10,000 to get their files back according to the news article.  Now I routinely back up my files when I am done working, just in case something like this ever happens.
