Vue always seems grainy to me. There are many sources for plant downloads for Bryce as well as programs specifically designed to make your own. L-system is very cool. There are others. I am not convinced to buy Vue. Anvil.

I get fluttering weirdness when textures mapped to worldspace move in my animations. Mapping to objectspace or parametric and re-sizing seems to fix this.

I like the lips and eyes and hair. Need to see whole body to really judge though. Would like to see hair on eyebrows also. I have yet to find the patience to do these. I just started messing with the uvmapper. Seems very promising.

When the snarl goes up the snout should widen/stretch and rise a bit also. Extendable/retractable claws. Something to help the mane like spikey extensions or extra locks of hair. A prehensile claw at rear of paws and griffon wings with... O.K. Maybe not. Teeth yes. Strips of hair on the backs of the legs would be cool too. You the man Traveler. Anvil.

I am more and more inclined to agree with Art each day, yet, I find a great pleasure in deriving something from nothing. It is the the biggest part of the artist's goal to create, not polish. If you convey the idea without explaning it outright you have made a fine work of art. Go for it in Bryce I say. If you dare. Anvil.

In Bryce I always ungroup the model then cycle through the parts grouping what I want to retexture later, like the hair or clothes which don't take to well in bryce, leaving just a group with the original poser template. You can apply any Poser or other texture to any of these after the fact of importing, trying differant ones till satisfied. Each group needs to be played with to achieve it's particular effect on your figure. Not all texture maps are created equal and Bryce reflects this more than Poser. For some reason, after importing Poser textures into Bryce with the model, some settings in Bryce are turned up all the way, particularly ambience. I don't find this desirable and turn it way down if not off. Hope this helps you, what do I know anyways? Anvil. p.s. Hair is still a problem for me

Perhaps the ships are monstrous and appearing just off the ground are indeed actually a good quarter mile up. As flat as that horizon is, this could be a very large planetoid. They appear to be up to no good in any case. I like this better than the original post, Anvil.

I also tried JeffH's fix to no avail. I am told when opening the rattlesnake "no groups in geom, cannot make rsrc.file." Patiently waiting for help. Anvil. p.s. I also fear messing with patches. Not sure what to think of them.

There was a cheesy dancing skeleton on last Halloweens Monday Night Football. I laughed long and hard. It had this silly sound effect every time it popped up. Anvil. I suppose if we were getting paid to use our cheesy animations we wouldn't be laughing so loud. Anvil.
