hrm... well just visited daz, i could find the flat top color pack but no flat top hair style, odd... guess its not avaible to those who dont join there subscription service, can't see paying 99 bucks just to see, nor just for a hair model.

thx :) Greg hair is pretty close, bit thicker then what i've got though, mines closer to military limits. I did IM neftis to see if she would be willing to help me with the hair model though if time permits :) never know :) I remember when neftis first started her store, she's come a long ways sense then and constantly getting better :)

if you ever have problems getting one of the file really bad you can also shoot a whistle to one of the higher up's (clint, jeff, admins, etc.) and there pretty good about helping find a solution to get the file to you :) clint helped me out several times in the past.

1. there not checking there link and making sure its working in the PREVIEW, if they did they would see that its showing as the black box, and they can fix it PRIOR to Uploading. 2) No I'm not a perfectionist, far from it, my computer room shows that just from looking at it. 3) IF the thumbnail isn't showing I have two options - A) deny it B) try to fix the thumbnail image. Quite frankly im sick of fixing other peoples thumbnails because there to lazy to make sure it works properly. You guys can slam me all you want for you not checking your freebie links to make sure there valid in the first place, not my fault your too lazy to do it. It is not the moderators place to hold your hand and make sure your doing things right, if 5 minutes are spent to take a look at what your doing or Send a Simple IM if you think you may be misunderstanding something to find out how to do it This Discision would of never taken place. and as far making everyone suffer as a few peoples mistakes? hella lot more then just a few people, and only those who are posting invalid thumbnail links are the ones who suffer, not 'Everyone', just love how people take and blow things outta perportion. people need to accually pay attention to the 'Freebie Preview' before clicking submit and see there thumbnail url isn't working Thats what its there for, not just to look pretty. We wouldn't need a Freebie Moderator if people accually took the time to test there links before posting.

typo's happen.

download accelerators tend to not recieve the script information properly and thus screw up 80-90% of the time. Even if a download accelerator could read the script properly it wouldn't work because the download is session based, thus if you go offline and come back online to download the purchase it would be treated as a new session and wouldn't complete. I know bout the problems getting files with 56k, im stuck on it right now (accually only getting about 38.4 connection) and it really does impare the ability. Rosity does have a nice little thing though, burn to cd, if its not something that you 'have to have right now' that little feature comes in handy, i've used it a few times in the past myself just to get some of my orders :)

anyhow you guys get the point, the 'hosted by' replacement thumbs aren't bad, dont mind those cause i dont have to edit them out, its when there is no valid link to it.

this is a good thumbnail and would pass.

Those who leave out thumbnails and you see the 'no thumbnail avaible' are ones that would also pass.

no this does not incude Freebies which the user has no thumbnail for, this is for those where people put in invalid urls to thumbnails that there hosting company does not allow direct linking to or those who have done errors in entering the thumbnail info. It becomes rather tiring day after day of trying to fix people thumbnails because they did not take the time to verify they were working in the first place with the 'preview' upload that freebies gives them. Freebies without thumbnails are just fine, its the ones with invalid thumbnail (bad links) links that are going to be denied automatically.

i think they are still doing manual turnover for payment of paypal items (not automated) so you have to wait till they get there email and read it to tell them to turn it over. Know they were doing this in the begining but dont know if it was ever changed to a auto process. (kinda like 3d commune n' paypal purchases)

The thing is, we have no way of verifying the model is of age considering the model wont submit the info needed. So if the model is of age the could 'post' other places where they may or may not be as strict. No Renderosity wasn't implying that its 'ok' to post underage pictures at all.

hey greybro, i do have another suggestion as well, tward the female side of things. When working with photo images to design textures, no offense to the ones you've chosen but, smaller breasted women give you better texture results for doing the chest area. Just a personal observation from my working with photos for texture bits.

think ya goofed on one of your links brent, the one for the new model. anyhoo, a pale white gal, or a black gal would be good. Male refrence pictures would be good too, same thing pale white/black guy. Rarely see black people textures done, i've had a need for some off and on, there hard to find would be good to have a set of refrence pics that we could use to make our own. Close up shots of detail areas like the eyes, ear, lips, nipples, finger tops, palms, feet bottoms, toes, knees are always a good idea as well so high def textures can be made to where the detail can be kept. Just some thoughts for you, looking forward to seeing this upcoming months model though, you mentioned she's a pale white lady, would work good for goth texture creation :)
