There was a thread - a loooong one - over at DAZ regarding creating classical human/horse centaurs. In it some one was posting morphs to marry V/M4 figures with the MilHorse. Somewhere in that thread they also posted set-up's for felitaurs/chakats using V/M4 and the MilBig Cat. I've used it to create models of my chakat char. A mix of Mil Big Cat, V4 and creature creator for V4 to give the feline head.  I'll see if I can track down the relevant thread over on DAZ.

I think you'll find what you want in the first post - she gives the listing for all her morph setups. As I said - about the only change I made was to use V4 creature creator to produce a feline head. Biggest problem I found was to produce a suitable texture to match up the big cat and V4 models

How to make swords look "Real" ?? All very good advice regarding shader's and lighting..but the best way to make swords look "Real" ?? Go do some basic research on REAL LIFE swords, and have your characters use those. Forget so-called "Fantasy" style blades that no-one in RL could ever wield...all spikes and wierd shapes. And forget the "Over The Shoulder" sword scabbard so beloved of fantasy arists - if someone is simply carrying a sword, slung over the back , merely to move it from one place to another, maybe across the back is OK. But you can't DRAW a sword in a hurry from that position- the human arms simply can't do it. As said before real swords..one's designed to be used in battle, aren't all that heavy..say 1 and a half to just over 2 pounds for a single handed sword.

I've not been able to get any further than the first page of any of Daz's forums for the past few days :( All I'm getting when I click on any of the topics in their forums is some damned splash screen for Cloud Flare..whatever that is ?? It seems to be telling me something about trying to seek cached copies ? Anyone else having similar problems ? Sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking about another companies ?problem ?, but I obviously can't post this in Daz's own forum at the moment :(

I've only just purchased it, not tried it out yet. I suspect it'd take a bit of rescaling, etc to get it to fit the Mil Horse. Given that the adhorse is 50 % off at moment..it might be worth purchasing it and save trouble of fiddling with saddle ?

Not sure if this is helpful or not..but check out some of the MiHorse horseback pose sets for V4/M4..there are some abduction poses in there. I just can't recall which sets though :(

Thanks WandW - your solution seems to have worked. I copied the Poser.dta file from the old install of P7 into the new and it started OK , without asking for the registration number :) I still don't know why it wouldn't accept me typing my old reg number in, but I seem to have gotten past the problem your way :)

BTW..when I showed that dummy reg key in my original post..that was NOT my code..just a  generic indication of the code format..where A stood for an alphabetical symbol, and n stood for a number. And also I was NOT asking for someone to give me a reg key..I already HAVE a valid key.
