The whole point of Dawn I would say (my opinion) is to give the Poser community new figure to call their own so to speak, that does not require a 3 party app to import it into Poser.

While Genesis is nice and all the need for Dson to get it into Poser drove a lot of people away from using it. (my opinion again here)

The DAZ hands might look classy for glamour/pin-up poses, but look far too long and skinny when wrapped around a pistol grip, so is quite unnatural looking to me.

Ahh k just the first I have seen of it as it is under their new release section so thought they just got pally with the makers of Vue so to speak. :) lol

As LROG said we will just have to wait and see what happens..  And yes speculation can be a very bad thing..  We will just have to wait and see what Hivewire do until then all the specualtion in the world will not help anyone and in some cases can do more harm than good..

Have a look at those characters that are on here that are both for Victoria 4 and Genesis.

If ya have a look at FWPD Nadia by P3Design and FWArt both V4 and Genesis versions of the character use the exact same texture files. The only difference is in the pose folder there you have .ds (Studio) and .pz2 (Poser) files for the texture application to the relevant figure.

As far as I knew you don't redistribute thee PMD files.. You have to get them into pz2 form if making a body or head morph and or in some cases expressions. Or fc2 files for expressions or injecting special morphs like teeth or ears..

Been a long time since I made them but the fang morphs I created were done by making them into a fc2 file.

There was a great mini tute on a forum forget where now but not sure they exist since Daz bought them so to speak and closed the site.

Wether you like daz or not, you can tell by their software that they come from a content creation background and really do give great tools to make content creation a much more streamlined process.....whereas for poser most of the methods of doing things are hacks that need alot of independantly created apps to even start to do effectively, and even then it often requires a ton of hand editing to get just what you want.

I am really not looking forward to going back to make poser versions.

And looked what a ruckus so to speak was caused when Daz created Genesis1 and more so now Genesis2.  They pretty much gave the royal bird to the Poser community..

OT Tried to make my first teeth morph for Dawn and well it didn't work at all, have to find out from the folks at Hivewire how to go about it as doing it the way I knew how too didn't work got all sorts of weirdness going on when I dialed in the morph.. lol
