Poser uses key-frames, so to animate the camera movement would be very simple. Start at frame 1, position the camera where you want the zoom to start. Then go to the last frame and position your camera at the end of the zoom (the more frames you include, the "slower" the zoom will be). By default, all cameras are animated, so your camera will move and zoom when you make your movie. Yes, you will have to render every single frame, and you'll want to adjust the settings to get the desired outcome. By default, Poser will render movies using "display settings" and not "render settings" so your transmaps and such will not show correctly.
Thread: What the bloody hell is this? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been skipping over messages here so I may have missed something, but has anyone suggested banning Stefyzz? I saw two instances mentioned in this thread where she was simply harrassing Renderosity members; one didn't even have the texture(!) and the other is having restrictions added to the license POST-SALE. He did not agree and is not bound to the license Stefyzz is trying to enforce, in my opinion. This is outrageous. Incidentally, I'm in the market for new textures and I will never EVER buy from Stefyzz, regardless of any sort of "explaination" she is able to offer in all her broken English. Bad business, missy.

I'm big into the animation too, and Phil C hit the nail on the head I believe. You'll notice the movies take MUCH longer to render now. =)
Thread: Adding another figure to a poser scene | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Also, if you've previously saved figures already outfitted in clothes and/or morphs, you can IMPORT the .pz3 file. Just choose "import" from the file menu, and select "poser prop". It may look for .pz2 files or something like that by default, so just change the file options to display .pz3 or "all files." Hope that helps!

I like the monotony, leave the colors as they are, I say! To compensate, you may want to give the figure a different pose. While the message of the work may call for a neutral-looking character, it certainly doesn't make for an exciting piece of art. I would make the figure's pose more visually exciting. Out of the 4 images, I like the top left the best.

I have my Poser installed on a Win2K partition (E:poser) and I've recently noticed that a lot of DAZ installers go straight to the c:program filesmetacreationsposer directory and that is wrong wrong wrong! Not even the right drive, guys! Anywho, I'm not sure if you're extracting the files THEN moving them into the props/renderosity folder or if you're extracting straight to the props/renderosity. If the case is the latter, your extracting app (or the installer/exe) may be recreating the poser folder structure within that props folder in an attempt to install all the files to the right place. I know I could explain that better, but its been a long day! If this isn't what's happening (and the more I think about it, it probably isn't), at least it'll be a nice heads up for later on. Another possibility is the free item is simply corrupt. Quite a few things I've downloaded from here don't work at all. A good example is the "Athletic Models" (I forget the artist/creator). I downloaded them from the Free Stuff link... and the zip is corrupt. Downloaded the same file directly from the artist's homepage, and they work like a charm. If the files here aren't working, see if the file is available elsewhere
Thread: Anyone know what hair this is? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Almost looks like its the short hair from the Hollywood Hair Pak at DAZ3D (categorized under Victoria Hair). Of course, the linked image shows blonde hair but you can change that easily enough. I even think the "pak" comes with dark and light textures for both sets of hair.Thread: Newbe | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

I got a full copy of Bryce 3D from a magazine CD and it only cost $7.95! Full, older versions of programs are frequently available with most every UK art magazine along with tutorials to get you started (I live in the US and so far I can only find such magazines at CompUSA). I would expect to see Bryce 4 show up on one of those CDs sooner or later.

Whoa, hold on, maybe the exclaimation mark is misplaced... I'm not promoting physical violence here, it's more of a sarcastic remark, which may make it better or worse...

All this "hate Bin Ladden" material is just eerie. I feel bad too for all the people and families directly involved. I in fact do feel the effects of the attacks, and I really can't imagine how those individuals could work up such nerve; to stab innocent people to death and then kill hundreds upon hundreds more. I can't help but wonder how long it will be before we begin seeing violent and tasteless images of torture in the galleries and forums. Maybe I'll just learn to avoid those posts. I didn't lose any family members or friends in the attack, so my tune would likely change if I had. Regardless, I think we can make more intelligent statements.
Thread: DAZ Terms of Use Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have no desire to have them change the policy, I was just wondering if there are any hidden evils regarding clip art. It just struck me as odd...

Thanks for all the great responses! I can now obviously see the chin needs work and the eyes are way too far apart and not "round" enough. Those are two quick fixes that'll help a tremendous lot, I believe! Thanks for the pic Fyrene, but I've already got it!
As far as programs go, I've just been tweaking the P4male model with Poser using magnets. All the morphs being applied have been made from scratch. Thanks again!
