To be honest, there are no butterflies in New Zealand yet - it's early spring. They must have been tired old moths from my wallet, now empty after buying P5. My P5 arrived about three weeks ago, and others are still waiting! I guess NZ is not that far away from other parts of civilisation (Australia excluded) after all. David.

It's October 1st here in New Zealand. Since we are a day ahead of the rest of the world, why is it that I always get patches a day later than everyone else? (Watch out, I've just seen two butterflies flapping their wings.) David.

From menu Animation>Make Movie, check the parameters are OK and also make sure that the Quality setting in the Make Movie dialog box is "Current Render Settings" (not "Current Display Settings").

Mine was picked up from CL on Friday night, disappeared for 3 days, then arrived at LAX on Tuesday. Delivered in New Zealand the next day (my Thursday)! Other couriers manage to deliver on Monday morning when picked up in California on Friday. Anyway, I may be the first P5 user in New Zealand, or at least the first animator here. David.

Also, you probably want to select "current render settings" in the Animation/Make Movie dialog.

Yes, I've had exactly the same problem. I think I fixed it by going into the Sky Lab, then Cloud Cover tab, and set Cloud Motion to 0.

I have had it working with B5 and Win2000Pro. I will be testing it with my new XP system tomorrow (Saturday for me), and will post my results here. I may try to keep some notes of what I do to make it work, in lieu of a tutorial. David.

If your Bryce object is NOT made of Bryce primitives, then export using Ctrl-D (or MAC equivalent) after clicking on the "E" box. You can export stones as well as other things imported into Bryce this way.

I chose susanna because I felt it provided better manual control over how textures are applied in the Bryce environment. Strictly speaking, it is not a "plugin".
