Thanks to everyone for replying to this discussion - lots of good info here. I did at last get both items I was working on to drape correctly. I had missed the info in the readme of one stating how to use to morph tool to fix lasting poke through.

The second one worked when I used a different pose, not sure why that is.
However, when I saved the pz3 in both cases it messed up the clothes. Is there a way to save a work in progress when using dynamic clothes?
thanks again,

bagginsbill - it probably does but mine just came with a little leaflet. Probably because I bought it long after newer versions had come out. (Tiger Direct) Maybe its online somewhere. Poser 7 install is behaving a little weirdly as far as the install. I have a few strangely placed folders - all from daz3d purchases

Thank you basicwiz for the reply, all sorted now. I guess its been too long since I loaded these programs - I didn't remember that part! That helped a lot :)

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. I do have Poser 7 but I like 5 better - probably because I am much more familiar with it.

Sharen - I'll try that and see if it works out!

Thread: somewhat silly Poser 5 question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I reloaded it yet again and its reappeared at last. I have a Linux os and use Poser with Wine so all I can think is that parts of the folder landed somewhere they shouldn't have along the way. It's never done that before, all very weird!!
Thank you again, jonnybode, for the help!!

Hi hi, jonnybode! Thanks so much for the reply. Mystery solved - the nailslong morph seems to have disappeared! On one hand, this is good, it means I'm not actually crazy afterall. On the other hand - what a bummer!!
I had a couple of crashes and reformats, I suppose it got lost in the shuffle. Reloading V3 didn't seem to help though. Hmm

just my two cents.. I don't like the new way freebies are being handled. I'll probably just go elsewhere - in the grand scheme of things do I think that'll change anything for renderosity - not one iota.

After you have loaded V4 once, you can save a copy to a pallet, using that copy you won't get the error messages, but you might have to go through the same procedure if you install a new morph pack.
Thanks for the input! How would I go about saving it ?
