I really like Rex and Roxie. Anyone who makes anything for them is guaranteed at least one customer .  I work with women. Many of them college students or recent graduates. More look like Roxy than Dawn or V4. Glitterati, love your dresses. As always, Poserworld has two or three outfits for Roxie, and one for Rex. Running a half price membership at this time.

Downloaded, will install when I get back home. Gee, this is kind of early for SR3. But, thanks to Smithmicro for constantantly striving to improve it's software.

I don't understand Smithmicro, either. The same problem that occurred with Miki 4, and was fixed quickly with the option to replace the figure eyelashes with transmapped eyelashes. Curious why this hasn't happened with Rex and Roxie.

3Dream has come out with the Master Skull Cap, with fits for about 50 characters, including Rex, Roxie, Anastasia, and Tyler. Currently has 5 short hair styles, including a "leaf" hair that goes well with your pixie outfit.

Darkseal has his "Roxie Plus" at Renderotica. Despite the name, and emphasis on a couple square inches, there are a lot of useful morphs, including nose, lip, ear, flat chested, really thin, Humungous breasts and "Baby Got Back", thinner thighs.

Looks like this might be the only game in town.

Glitterati came out with a 40's dress for both Miki 4 and Roxie at RDNA. Netherworks has a Hair Conversion System fit for Roxie. LadyRaine has a character morph and texture there. Texture Transformer by Reality Paint is promising V4 to Roxie and M4 to Rex in the future.

Shame we have a couple of decent characters in Poser, and darn near nothing for them. Thank you for your work, EClark.

Use Joe Public's lighting set. Simple and a great improvement. Adjust as needed.

Also some pretty decent scenes and props. You are right, downloading has always been slow. But much better than it used to be.

That is a factor 2 in price. Is there a significant difference in features or performance?

Good question. Maybe it is possible to upgrade? Sitting on the fence, I have a budget to keep, and this could really bust it.

 

 

They should automatically conform if you drag them from the library and drop them directly on the character. I should add that dynamic clothes will not conform.

My frustration with Poser is the "one trick pony" approach to content. A vast majority of content providers focus on one figure. Was V4 now Dawn. Maybe someone else next week. But heaven forbid more than one. There are a number of good figures. Wouldn't know it by the stores.

Shame that we now have a couple of decent figures in Poser, and almost no one notices, or cares. Makes Genesis more inviting every day. Which is where I've been spending more of my time and money. Just venting. Sorry.

Check around ShareCG and Renderosity freestuff. There are a number of items scattered around. Not a lot, not easy to find.

I think I see a more vendors slowly trying out Genesis than Dawn. Not a flood of desertions, just a kind of a gradual drift. Daz is giving the software and basic figures away, and people are trying it out.

I suspect a number of vendors are tired of cranking out another V4 thing. I know I was getting tired of seeing them. That, more than anything, was the reason for the initial enthusiasm for Dawn.

As for Dawn not being perfect. The last version of Victoria was 4.2. And there still was a cottage industry in "fixes" long after she was retired. Maybe an improved Dawn will spark continued interest. I bought a number of items for her. But my interests are in the newer Poser characters, and Genesis. Have to draw the budget line somewhere.

Of course, the 800 pound gorilla in the room is the economy. Who has a lot of spending money these days? That has put a crimp in a lot of things. Market place, vendors, customers. And apparently will continue to do so.
