About the only one I can answer is the necklace-- cause P6 isn't here yet. Most props, like necklaces don't conform, they're parented. You adjust them with the y rotation, and x and z if you need to. They can be a pain, huh? God bless the merchants that smart prop their props. Oh, after you get the prop adjusted, um, properly, yu can resave it to the library-- as say, Jessie's fit. That should smart prop it. Also, about the backgrounds. Not sure how this impacts with IBL, but when I have probs with backgrounds not fitting in P5, I render to Tiff against black background and fit the background in with Photoshop, after adjusting the alpha channel. Or, I did, I've kinda forgotten how to remove the alpha channel. I hope this option remains in P6 as it allows you to have a much cleaner unpixelated background at times. Interferes with depth of field and shadow chaser/catcher/whatever though. Emily

Well, it would make a difference in that I can't order the download version with a DSL incapable of speed faster than 11kb per sec. So the price would be moot to me. Emily

What lovely birds-- I just finished downloading some of your other textures, they are beautifully done-- thank you so much. Such an easy way to add a splash of color and life to a scene. Emily

Wait a minute-- is that price for the electronic download or the box-- cause that could make a big difference? And besides, I do think I got a fairly good deal considering I waited till people were actually downloading-- or just about to download-- P6. May have been an early adopter, but I waited till all the hints were out in the open and I could see what the new stuff really amounted to-- and what some of the renders actually looked like from other than CL itself. Nah, I don't think I jumped too early-- still don't have my box yet, but I do know where my Shade serial number is.;)) Once it comes, I'm gonna spend the first week trying to read the darn manual anyway. Even upgrading from 5, this is a jump for my technically challenged brain. IBL lighting looks amazing but almost physically impossible-- Lighting without lights??--shows how dumb I am, huh? Maybe they could have waited a couple of weeks though-- just a couple, till more of us actually had our boxes. But, all in all, CL, the new CL, is not screwing up anywhere like the fiasco that was preordered Poser 5. And anybody who thinks so has got serious amnesia.:)) Emily

Wow, amazingly rich, different and compelling personalities. I wish you had shared some of these earlier. It might have given people a whole new vision of the Face room. Much as OperaGuy has been trying to do-- I don't want to lessen your credit, kid.;)) I'm particularly impressed with Claudia from the Celtic series. A very beautiful regal woman, unlike anything I usually see from Poser. Don is not as easy to escape being Don, but Caradoc is rather wonderful. I hope you are able to solve your problem with Jessie and James as I'd love to see what you are able to do with them. Or rather, perhaps, what people you can discover "in" them. Fascinating site. Gareee quote:Hmm I wonder how people who paid more for the prerelease upgrade are going to feel? Like I usually do for early adoption, slightly ripped off. I'm getting used to it. Emily

Very elegant lines. Beautiful render. In P5? P6? ???? C4D, Max?? In fact, it looks very much like a watercolor sketch. Make that superlative render. Emily

By the way, my comment was not in any way intended to be anti-mammary-- heck, my Namihei had size 8 boobs and her outfit was transparent so, I'm hardly a prude. It's the weirdly formed ones that irritate me. Basket ball shaped tumors on the chest. Yuck. I guess I still don't understand the extreme dislike some people had for this one day joke. But that's life. Emily

wolf:The great majority of the "namihei" Pics have the goofy bald head chick in every thumbnail. across every gallery category. Yeah, mine did too-- but I did it so you wouldn't waste time clicking on it by accident. I'm wondering if the kinda cross-gender thingie bothers guys more than gals? If I'm wrong, just shoot me.:)) The hair is not only pretty cool-- not for Vicki, yuck, for the male figures-- but that "underwear" makes a cool hanging around the house outfit with oot's free textures on it, and the sandals work terrific with Japanese gear both male and female-- very high res, and they fit like a dream. What's amazing to me is these modelers still do top quality work even for a joke. I feel like I got two gifts, the Namihei set and WonderWoman. And, don't worry, I have no burning desire to flood the galleries with any more bald headed Vicki's.;)) Emily

But,guys, you can avoid seeing every single darn one of the Namihei pics just by not clicking on the title. I really don't see the problem. It's still a big gallery. Now, if it were just as easy to avoid huge weirdly-proportioned mammaries as easily.;)) Maybe another giveaway? Emily

I was just thinking, if you're more comfrotable in PSP, you can render your models naked and then paint the clothes on however you want. That should solve the feeling of just dressing up dollies and be very creative. Hair painting is a bit tougher, but still lots of people do it. There are plenty of ways to use Poser as a base and not be stifled with your creativity. You just don't have to use it the way everyone else does, that's all. Emily

Yeah, gallery trolling is lame-- but, honestly, so is whining about it. There are other recourses and you were given some in the above messages. By the way, Birddie, who are you? I have no idea. And without your gallery up, I'll never know, will I? I'm usually so supportive it's sickening, but I don't see any positive reception to a lot of heart-felt support from nice people here who seem to honestly care about you. At some point, you have give a little too. Or quit. It's a big gallery. Emily

I'm looking at the light direction chart and I can't believe this is Poser. It really has grown up. Of course, this is Cath's texture and, my gosh, nobody does it better. Hon, your low resolutions are better than most people's super duper high res stuff. James is super hot though. Emily
