Ahhh... I did try that, but it took so long, I figured it wasn't working and canceled it. Patience is a virtue; what a concept. Thanks Clint. --ratta
Thread: ATTN Poser Users on Mac:Problems Uploading to Gallery | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had that problem, and switched from Photoshop (Boxtop JPG plugin) to Macromedia Fireworks when creating the jpgs. The problem went away. I'm using navigator too, hmmm... maybe that's why it works now. --ratta

Thread: Why This Strange Render Result? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I ran into something similar. The full figure and all props would render, with the exception of ONE prop. Tried it a number of times, same thing happened. Quit Poser and tried again, and it rendered fine. That said a RAM problem to me, but I work on a Mac, so who knows. --ratta
Thread: Lost In The Warehouse District On Thanksgiving Day | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Heheh. I had about half a day to show the balloon concept in a pic for investors, so I thought, "Hmmm, what do I already have built that I can drop the balloon into that even vaguely resembles a city?" An hour or so to build the balloon wranglers and covert them, the balloon guy and their maps in Bryce, a couple hours to set up the scene again, and about 3 hours to render. I never throw nothin' away. Thank the goddess. --ratta

Thanks folks. The cartridge belts still need work and textures. I'll probably have to rebuild the belts. I can't figure why the textures didn't translate when I made the belt a pz3. I was so excited I got it to pose at all that I couldn't wait to show the picture. Heheh. The real trick will be to figure out some poses for the character so the belts move with the pose. If I can get that to work I'll put the whole character up on the Ono web site when it's done. Oh, and the catsuit isn't camo. It's shredded latex, skin and tattoos showing beneath. She's been a busy woman, after all. Thanks again, --ratta
Thread: thigh/hip boots available? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
arcady, I made the boots on PhilC's figure. They were originally a combination of props (the boots) and thigh morphs (ah those were the days). I'd be glad to send them to you, if you'd like. They pose, but do not conform. The props are built to mate with the P3 Fem thighs. I'm not sure if they'll work with P4, but you're welcome to 'em. --ratta

Hmmm... partly evil... as opposed to 'midevil' which, of course, is only half evil. heheh. --ratta
Thread: Just wanted you to know.... | Forum: Community Center
It's funny how stuff works. I was just getting on a roll, posting pictures and models, then bang... the split. Then bang... a job that takes up 95% of my life. I was just getting to feel like I was a part of a community of artists, in spite of the bs politics. Now, I mostly feel like a lurker, because I don't have the time to contribute. But I come here every day, even if I hardly post. For me, this IS the Poser site on the Web and the graphics site I frequent most. I'd subscribe if it came to that. You guys are doing a great job, you update content, add features and keep us in front of stuff. There's respect here, for the people who visit and for the artists who contribute. That's just not true in a lot of other places. And nerd... I'm clicking, I'm clicking... Thanks, Jack and to all the Admins, for what it's worth. --ratta
