In my first message, I mentioned the Uzilite panties. While they will work on Posette (at least on the wwgv2 version, they will not work on Eve. When one tries to conform them to Eve and adjust parameters, the panties go crazy, moving in unexpected directions with each twitch of the parameter dials. I don't understand enough about the geometry files to know why this is happening. Any ideas?

doozy, you say you render an animation in two parts. Is there a way to couple two separate parts together? I haven't found that.

Yeah, it had occurred to me that you could make the object invisible, but I hadn't gotten around to trying that yet. Thanks for the comment.

Eirian, I just read your comment about "men's fantasies" and I want to tell you that not all men fantasize about large breasts. That's one problem I always had with the "Playboy pin-up" image. I always thought smaller breasts were much more attractive (sexier). I thought your new texture was rather nice. I also think it's interesting that people here in this graphic arts world are frequently also creative in other areas. I've written several novels myself (none published yet) and I've been a painter (oils, watercolors, etc) for years (some of them HAVE sold). Good luck with your new Vicky texture.

Thanks for all the responses. In talking about Arduino's Eve, which is a truly beautifully done model, I feel a bit like the authors of books who try to thank all those who contributed to the success of the book and inadvertantly leave someone out. I, as an amateur at this game, am very grateful for all of you creative people who make this possible. I would like to try a little of that creativity myself, but am having a little trouble finding all the tools. I haven't been able to locate Morph World, for example. Have I missed the obvious?
Thread: How to speed up animated graphics?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for all the helpful comments. Some of what you (all) responded with was what I already suspected. Guess I'm just too impatient. I do try to hold down the polygon count, but occasionally, I get carried away with creating elaborate scenes, with the obvious result. Guess the old adage applies: KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid). Happy New Year.

You might consider adding this phrase to the door (to Hell), and pardon my Italian, which I'm not, so I may not remember it well: LASCHATE OGNE SPERANZI, CHE VOI ENTRATE That's from Dante's Inferno, his words over the gates to "that place".
Thread: Problem with Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't see how you did anything much with only 32 megs of ram. I have 288 megs installed and I still at times run into problems when I've created a scene with a lot of 'pieces'. You can use virtual memory, if you have the disc space, but that slows things down a bit sometimes

Not only should back-ups be done frequently, but virus scans should be done on everything that is downloaded from the web prior to opening. I've never gotten a poisoned file from Renderosity free stuff, but it only takes one. And it is probably wise to get one of the "firewall" software programs and use it to block intrusion into one's computer when on the internet. Norton has a good one available and easy to use.

I found "Mover", but it apparently only works on PC's, not on Macs. So it appears my downloading time (long) was all wasted.

Comment to Marque: I raised the same issue you did, some time back - why can't you animate in Bryce, since it came from the same company as Poser? Turns out it didn't. Poser and Bryce apparently originated with different companies and were acquired by MetaCreations some time back, then by . . . And so on.

I meant to mention MacConverter. I do use it for converting non-Mac obj files to Mac compatable obj's. It's simple and easy. I have used ResEdit a lot and am comfortable with it. I suppose that's why I convert the cr2's, pp2's, etc. with it.

I see your point. I suppose you'd have to do two triangles, with boxes in between to form timbers, or something.

I'm not sure what 'objects library' you're talking about. The only one I have on the Mac is in Bryce, not Poser. I can't open files in that one from Poser. I can 'import' some kinds of files from other places, but not 'obp' format files. They simply do not show up in the 'open' window when I try.
