Sorry to push this up guys, but this getting really frustrating. The Group Editor in the Hair Room doesn't seem to be working at all.
I'm trying to select polygons for the Hair Groups, but nothing happens. What's more frustrating is that I rehearsed these actions prior to recording them, and they worked fine. Now, however, the Group Editor appears to be broken. I've even re-installed Poser, but the problem is still there.
I may have to make a very expensive Trans-Atlantic call to Smith Micro tonight!

I think you'll find that the 'MINI' (or 'Convertible' in the Vehicles props folder) isn't included with Poser Pro 2010. Perhaps BMW's licensing people noticed.

Yes, I've created a character in the Face Room- unfortunately there ISN'T everything I need. The eye morphs are certainly lacking, and applying the shape from the Face Room causes massive distortions because existing morphs are being applied cumulatively rather than making subtle shape changes.

LostInSpaceMan- I'm fully au fait with morphs in Poser, I need MORE morphs for Alyson. I particularly want to modify her forehead and eyes to match custom photos, but there is a dearth of morphs included with default figure. Nothing to change her nose curvature, for instance!
I was just hoping that there might be some 'morphs++' available, like the V4 ones, but it seems not.

Yep, done all of that. The one thing I haven't done is set a precise frame count in Walk Designer to match the initial frame count- I'll try that and see what happens. Walk Designer always sets more frames than I determine at the outset.

Ta, everybody. And THANK YOU, ODF, for such a marvellous model. I think I've commented before that I hope Antonia will recieve a wardrobe of realistic clothing, and not just dance/club/fetish/beach wear you seem to get for Vickie 4.
I'll learn how to turn her nostrils off eventually, and I'd like to make her smile or smirk. Face morphs anyone?

SR2.1 is now installed, I've rendered the same image with the same settings, including transparencies in raytracing, and all is significantly faster now.
But still, I come back to my original question- can I expect even better performance from Poser 8 on an i7-based system?

Duly downloaded and installing even now. I didn't get the automatic notification via the Poser startup, however. And I seem to have overlooked the notification email from Smith Micro.

Right, thanks! I'm on version 8.0.1.10434. I've received the automatic update notification for SR1 (I believe), but I haven't installed SR2! I'll check out SM and update.
