Funny I had a quick read before I ran out the door at 7:00 this morning o_O poor me and I totally agree with what you have to say there Richard... An excellent analysis I think and from someone I really respect...
The hole is made in a piece of aluminium foil that's been taped to the inside of the box with about a 135mm focal length and a NO. 12 needle sized hole LOL... guess the vinteging has to do with the focal length vs the size of the aperture so yeah I'm pretty happy with how all has turned out and no ligh leaks YAY. Oh and aren't you so cute 'M' LOL Thanks for taking your time to look at these... Glad you like them I'm ready to go back out and keep playing with that box LOL... Guess I should do some photos of it to put here on RR some time... Anyway gotta keep going looks like I'm going to be doing an extra paper this semester = A WHOLE LOT MORE WORK :crying:

Yeah that's me over there <---- O_o well actaully it's not and I'm sure you ALL would have guessed that BUT now you're probably asking just what is it and where is it from? (some already know this so I'll keep it short) ahhh something that lives inside my imagination... In the Certificate in Media Arts I just did I had to do some dumb paintings so I created a series of these strange characters..... Liked this one the most so took him it into photoshop and yeah.... About the 'short_ribs'..... AHHHH that's like from WWWWAAAAAAYYYYY back in Zimbabwe where some American hunters that came to our place called me that and it just stuck... Guess it had to do with being a youngster back then.... I really should do a 'me' Avatar but yeah don't know if it's worth the pain LOL.... BTW a cool thread and makes for one pretty interesting read

Yeah it's always one of those you dont know how it's worked till you finally tone map the image...It's nice to see such a clean HDR I think many are rapidly forgetting what it's all about (I'm included in that LOL) thanks for sharing it with us buddy and yeah the full size view is wicked!

LOL yeah the new camera thing is pretty good I can't say I need a new one cause I've just got it but hey bigger ones out there still so... yeah.... ok I just downloaded the demo version of Alien Skin blowup and I gotta say I'm amazed by it. Think I'll do this to most my images when I get them printed cause I want big prints... LOL... Oh and btw the demo version is fully functional for 30 days doesn't leave any watermarks or anything... worth playing with I think and thanks for all the help guys...

This is awesome... I was born in Zimbabwe (can only speak a few words in native language of shona) moved to NZ 6 years ago spent first few years on the south island now moved and live up on the north island....
