Thread: Bryce 7 vs OpenSource? | Forum: Bryce
I went through the DAZ forum posts and I can't find it now. I do see that they are working on the bugs. So an up-date of some kind will be out sometime soon. But I'll keep checking. I may be wrong about B7.
Thread: Bryce 7 vs OpenSource? | Forum: Bryce
If I can add my two cents to this conversation. I understand from the DAZ forum that a Bryce 7 is in beta right now. I'll look for the link and post it here.ย
So let's keep our fingers crossed that they don't screw us over.ย

3pts - Orbital ,ย ย ย I agree with everything that rashadcarter said. You are an all around pro. Stop it!ย ย ย ย
2pts - Jedswindells,ย The fact that you built this yourself and didn't download it is always an A+ in my ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย book.
1pts - rj001,ย I guess I'm just a minimalist at heart. I think yours is brilliant. That and the fact that I ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย have no idea how you made that plane.
There were others,ย but I think everyone stepped up to plate this challenge.ย

I find it's best to play with the textures outside of the scene I am working on. That way I'm not eating up a lot of memory. And when I get something I like I can save the texture and apply it to my model in the scene or merge the model from the texture test I was working on into the scene.

ย All three handle a different aspect of the texture sizing. Also set your preview to "Actual Selection" This will allow to see the changes in real time.
Good luck.

Rj,
Funny Bobby says to add godrays. I was thinking the same thing.
I would also normalize the atmosphere. The green mist just not doing it for me. Other then that I like your general composition.
Good luck
Thread: June Monthly Challenge - And The Winner Is........ | Forum: Bryce
Congratulations Rashad. And to all who entered as well.
Not really sure I'll be able to enter the next one. I'm going to have a busy month ahead. I will at leastย try to vote for the next winner.
Thread: I'm Making Bryce Video Tutorials | Forum: Bryce
AgentSmith,
If I can make a recommendation for some web conversion software. That's if you don't already have something better. It's called MPEG Stremclip from Squared 5 . Here is the URL were it can be found. http://www.squared5.com/
It's free for both Mac and PC. That with a plug in from Perian (also free) will turn any video type into a .flv file which is the standard for the web. The software is very easy to use. Just drag and drop your video clip into the open window. Select your export file type and go. It saves the file to your desktop ready for uses.
I'm a videographer by trianing and I'll tell you this will make your task so much easyer.
I look forward to your tut.
