"pinupcutiesII contributed and has sole responsibility for the content" ??? The illegal act is commited by the ones that host, along with those that post! Ignorance does not hold up! They have a responsiblity to verify content. Time for a good ole fashioned lynching!
Thread: Cloth Room | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The cloth room is one feature that actually works, If you can familiarize yourself with it, you'll be surprised at what you can do with it. PhilC's tutorials are the best way to start!

Be careful what you say here about pirates, I spoke out against them and now I'm be bashed for it! I knew I wasn't losing my mind, there is intelligent life after all.

Bad advice is worst than none. I do not want anyone to just go putting all of the textures into one folder based upon anything I wrote. I have implemented my own system to organize the textures, but I do it as I need to. If I seem to be using Vicky often(which I do) I go through the folders and move vicky textures, BUT If any are used by another file, I edit the file right away. I see no need to hunt all over to find the transmap I need, so when I finally find it, I organize. I always leave prop textures alone, it's not worth the hassle for how often I use them. Just remember, by putting in one big folder, files may get overwritten.

Les, if it weren't for people like you, where would we all be? Seriously, people with the sight and shear determination make Poser as useful as it is. It's not because that is how it was designed, but because someone out there wouldn't accept that it couldn't be done!!! Keep it up, nothing is impossible. Hey, do you think you can fix P5 for me????
Thread: Poser 5 ProPack? Curious Labs Team.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I seriously doubt that CL will make any type of attempt to force users to pay twice to have the software work as promised. I am sure that right now, this very second, Albert Einstein's DNA is being used to produce clones for CL's SUPER DOOPER TEAM. A team consisting of 6000 fuzzy grey-headed babies, which when properly coupled to MAGNANATRON(a super-computer designed by aliens, built by the Japanese, incorporating Intel technology, and a Microsoft operating system), will easily solve all issues pertaining to P5. You must be patient though, drilling the cranial ports takes time. Not to mention changing all of those dirty diapers! PEEE EEWW!

SSSTTTOOOOPPP! DO NOT MOVE THE GEOMETRIES!!!! No, no, no, you don't want to do that! You would have to edit each and every CR2 and PP2 file to point to the new locations, or you would have files overwriting files with the same name. It is easy to open the CR2, copy the address of the geometry, and search runtime until windows finds it, and open the containing folder. Not to mention, if you need to know who created the mesh, for permissions or such, the folder name usually serves as a signature. The textures, I have always organised to my liking. Warning though, if P5 can't find it, it will lock up. Thus you are forced to have one giant geometry folder, and one giant texture folder if you want to avoid editing the CR2. But yes it may or may not work, but I would recomend against it.
Thread: Poser not rendering | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you wish to continue using Poser I highly recommend scrapping ME for 2000 or XP. Hell, even if you don't ever use Poser again SCRAP ME. It is THE absolute WORST operating system that Microsoft has EVER released! And that is saying something.
Thread: What would be the best prog for creating mat pose files??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
MAT Pose Edit would be my suggestion, it's free and works, that's good enough for me. You may need to DL additional files though, read the README. It wasn't made for P5, but will work to some degree. I had an issue with V3 in it, may be too much for it, so I just edited a MAT manually with Windows' replace feature.
Thread: Bizarre OBJ rendering problem | Forum: Poser Technical
Well, um, that DEPENDS... I assume you've verified that it isn't something on your map? Do the lines seem to match the mesh? What happens when you change the lighting? I have had weird artifacts that I couldn't understand, tweaking displacement settings got rid of them. Do you have a different app to test render in? You can always remap it and see.
Thread: How many of you use Poser 5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just count all of the bald heads! Renders? They should look the same. Buy P5, and you still have to use the P4 renderer if you want to get anything accomplished. That is unless, of course, you are on wellfare and/or have no life. Where is the speed that CL said FireFly had? It does make nice fuzzies if you use displacement mapping!!!
Thread: Poser5 just about useless for animating??? | Forum: Poser Technical
Hmmm, I am assuming you mean "picture" as in a series of VS "MOV" as in AVI. I don't know why I didn't see this option earlier. It may also be a problem with the CODEC I'm using. Haven't tried Mimic with P5 yet, but if the figure doesn't have the morphs that Mimic uses for the animation it wont work. There is another one called Text Puppet, which has a text to speech doodadder built in. Again, I don't know much more than that.

Thread: Poser5 just about useless for animating??? | Forum: Poser Technical
I use Win2000. The dynamic hair and cloth sold me on the product, but so far it seems like P5 is just a shiny version of P4 with the ProPack. I can animate, just not using the dynamic hair. I am wondering if something else is wrong.
Thread: Missing folder, sort of, I cant see it??? | Forum: Poser Technical
AAAAHHHHHHH! No, not WinME anything but WinME!!! Kill it, get rid of it now, before it's too late. Poser will run better on NT(Win2000 or WinXP). The only thing WinME is good for is...well...I just can't think of anything, sorry.
