I can get rid of this effect, but I have to crank the count WAY high to get the model 'smooth' enough for bryce. It might be possible to build it between the two. Since it's based on a sea shell type design, I'll see if I have time to play around with a nice shell this weekend. If I can get that over into bryce without it getting those edges, then we still might be in business. :)

I actually like the first version a little better. The 2nd almost seems to be saturated by the light, where as the first you still got some of the greens from the forest in the water. my 2 cents. both are better then I'm able to get out of bryce so far. :)

hmm... since we've just started a new year/mil'.. how about a look at what the next might be like ? Or ... since Scifi is pretty well done.. perhaps something (event or item) from the past Mil'. Just a thought. :)

hmmm.. lets see.. Name: Rim AOE: None really. Like to model things though, but still very weak .. and way to judgemental on my own work. Freetime is weird.. sometimes lots, othertimes.. well. :/ BUT. I will make an honest attempt if chosen to do what I can.

Yes, but at least you have a good reason. Me on the other hand, I've just been working 18 hr days.. so.. unless I get something slammed out this weekend (which I HOPE to get off) I'll be missing it as well. :( Wondering what's on the 'books' for Jan. 01.

I like the prop driven idea. Depending on the era when this all happens, perhaps Jet technology was still in development. Also, for hunting things on the ground, props are still better for turning and tight attacks. Just look at the stats on some of todays jets.. and how many miles it takes to exicute a 180. So far all your images rock!! Only thing I would do is develop a cockpit or two to place inside. You could reuse it from plane to plane & 'copters too.

Only question I have now, is once our image is done, where would you like it posted ? gallery, here ? Mine isn't done yet, but hope to have a couple days over the weekend to take it from paper to screen. (yeah, concept is on paper for me. Helps me envision locations, etc.). Sorry if this post is mis-placed. :) - Rim
