I see this is a slightly older post, but for future prospects, one can change poser materials to work with Daz studio quite easily.

Just for reference, when I unzip a file that contains poser mats, they usually end up in one place or another and end with .mat5 (those are the ones that need to be changed). Be sure to save a copy, in the event things go bad or you need a back up, then with the copy, double click to get the name of the .mat5 and change it to .pz2(just the extension).

If the item came with a thumbnail, it will magically appear in your file list/tree where that blank file was before.

There is also a more complicated method involving notepad++, but I can't get it to work 100% of the time, so on that note, I only use it with freebies :)

Back on topic, I also have a few Powerage sets, and use The Freelancer for V4 quite often with no ill effects. It's really a matter if the mat files are .pz2 or .mat5.

Dynamic cloth, on the other hand, isn't quite so versatile... Sigh...

I took a look at the top image your provided, and surprisingly, the actor's face isn't all that different than the stock Mike4 texture. A little work on the nose, fill out the cheeks, and a bit of diffuse color adjustments for the pale skin and you are there.

I finally sorted this out. Ended up redownloading the EHSS and the Stephanie model it came with, new install of both and voila!

Now to finish that model for the composite. Thanks for the replies guys and gals. Its good to know that somebody will take time out to help fellow rendeonauts!

Not sure why Mike's texture has the plague, but its on the list of fixes. That revolver texture looks like garbage too. Ehh... the project continues!

Add: Screwy thing, its just this elite texture that won't load. The default, an S4 mat, and a the DMR Ella mat I replaced it with all work fine. As soon as I tried reloading EHSS, it kicked off all the textures on the model, skin-wise. I'd revert to kicking and screaming but I usually hurt myself whilst doing so. Time to hide the 12 gauge!

I do have EHSS on. Actually, I've had both EHSS and UE2 on my hard drive for as long as I've had DAZ, just never learned to use it correctly until now!

Still no dice. I have EHSS on for the large bald fellow in the back (Sam) also but not the shorter guy. Think that makes a difference? I did a render of the two of them for a composite that came out fine.
