agree with Tjohn about everything. i usually look at a pic if the thumbnail, and generally the whole image, grabs my attention. my first few pics that i posted here got maybe 2 or 3 comments, but as I posted more and more over the next few months your works kind of get "recognized" i guess by other people. Dont let the # of comments be the reason u post either, because then you wont be making pics to the fullest of your ability. Browsed theu ur gallery, and it looks great, cant wait to see some more work from you.

yes i find myself torn between bryce and games. its either rendering or hijjacking a car and driving it off a bridge. agree with rochr, serious sam is a ddictive but well worth the hours of mindless shooting. and sambucus, morrowind also rocks, its very inspiring also. oh well good luck with ur...uh..problem.
Thread: Update to my WIP! | Forum: Bryce
awesome effect, the fire and smoke rock. excellent job. i would maybe center it off more, because of all that empty grey space, or maybe u could find some kind of ground texture or something, or maybe make it higher in the atmosphere, surrounded by clouds--but, its ur pic, and it looks awesome so far!
Thread: Hourglass update critique | Forum: Bryce
looks great so far--the only thing that i would suggest is maybe a new sky--the one u have looks kina "bryce-ish" if u know what I mean, u can find ones that look the same but are a bit more realistic, some are presets oon bryce, and there are some great ones u can get from freestuff. but, its your pic, so do what u want! looks great so far!

Thread: My first real attempt to use bryce to create an image ..Help! | Forum: Bryce
wow-excellent for a 1st attempt, this is looking very good! i dont consider myself a profesional, or even an expert at bryce, cuz there is always something u can learn new from it. The first thing I would add would be some haze, the color depends on the mood u want, dark grey would make the place look dreary and scary, or just white would make it look like somwhere on earth. Secondly, u should bring the dragon more to the center of the image, jst because he is one of the main components of the image. Im guessing u have some type of paint program (painter, photshop) and u can add ALOT to the image just by messing with the color effects and special effects when ur done. as far as ripples in the water, ive never done them bu im pretty sure there is a tutorial somwhere on the web... These are just my suggesetions, but do whatever u think will make it look better, just expereiment alot with colors/lighting. once again this is extremely good for a first try, and i cant wait to see it finished. peaceout
