Really coming along nicely. Love the swan! If you do decide to repose the woman, don't twist her shoulder. Just move the upper arm forward and twist maybe a very little. Most of the twist should be in the forearm, and the hand should bend back. Maybe tilt her head and chest to the right a little instead. Hope you don't mind the comments, I'm niggly about poses. Can't wait to see your final render! Diane G

Both the dreds by Eric Westray (labeled Braids) and the E-1 figure by Steve Rindone (posted by Dave) are available on Fun Stuff. FYIwhile the dreds are great, it took a lot of post in Photoshop to get them to look like you see them here. They tend to look like plastic tubes otherwise. I haven't tried making a texture for them yet. I have better luck with character textures than hair. I will post both the texture and the E-1 morphs if Darrell will be so kind as to lend me space. I'll have to post the morphs as part of a cr2 though. They were all done in Poser and, since I'm using a Mac, I have no way to separate them from the figure. A PLEA GOES OUT TO ANY MAC PROGRAMMERS OUT THEREI WOULD PAY FOR A MAC VERSION OF MORPH MANAGER!! The texture was done on the regular P4 woman map. I haven't noticed any difference in the mapping for E-1. FishNosemust be your monitor or your browser causing her to be too dark. She shows up fine on my screen in both AOL and Netscape. If you have AOL, go into advanced preferences and turn off image compression. It really screws with the images. Took me a while to figure that one out!

I would be very interested in this kind of work as well. I love making characters and textures and refining poses. Perhaps I could be one of your "makeup artists" or your Poser poser? Diane Thure Griffith

Mmmmmm...I guess blue is not her natural haircolor? Great effect on the left wall. BTWmy previous comments about your wedding party image looking blurry were an error on my part. I finally figured out that AOL was making my images blurry. After much searching in the preferences, I finally figured out how to get the images to load clearly (turn off image compression in the advance settings if anyone else is having the same problem). Love the wing texture! Diane Thure Griffith

Dianethe particle effect is a special fx prop by aksiel I dl'd from the Props Guild. The lights I made in Poser using various transparency/reflection/ambient light combos with a lens flare applied in Photoshop later. I find that's a neat trick for making lights "glow". Poser can't do that. The atmosphere is a green marble texuture applied to the ground and a HUGE single-sided square in the background. Tried the Bryce demo I got at Seybold yesterday. So cool! I can't wait until the real thing arrives!

Thanks for the compliment. We'll see what kind of handle I really have. I don't seem to be able to get the hang of Ray Dream. But I haven't spent a whole lot of time with it. I got it bundled with my video card, so it just has the online help and I hate that. I like to have a BOOK to refer to. I think you are doing great. This image is wonderful! Diane G

Wow! Beautiful image. I agree about the window, though. It detracts from the peacock. I think I would just delete it and make the peacock tail a little brighter if you can. It seems a little too transparent. Yikes47 minutes to render. I guess now I really won't be getting any sleep. Just ordered Bryce 4 at the Seybold conference here. More to learn. More to play with!

Oops. I thought it worked for geocities, but I was wrong. All I got was the text file of the page that comes up saying the page is unavailable. What a pain in the @#$

Worked fine when I tested it before, but for some reason it got corrupted. I have reposted it at a smaller .jpg file size. AOL doesn't warn me when I have exceeded my FTP space allotment and I think that may have been the problem. I will e-mail the .jpg files to anyone who can't get it to open now, but Aladdin Expander should work now. Dianethe model is a character of my own creation using many of Traveler's face and breast morphs plus a few of my own. I would like to post her, but I need to find space somewhere. My free FTP space on AOL is too limited for character files. Again, sorry for all the trouble. I am new to this uploading thing.

I do agree that Tim's textures are great, but just to clear up any confusion: the freckles texture on Karyn was done by me (DTHUREGRIF). Tim has used it a lot (and has been very good about giving me credit for itthanks Tim!).
