Hey thanks for the input Richard ! :o) But i guess i should have been somewhat clearer. My problems are with the suborders, everyone seems to have a different classification. CBIF does it like this: Order Lepidoptera Suborder Frenatae Suborder Jugatae Suborder Macrolepidoptera Suborder Microlepidoptera Others do it like this: Order Lepidoptera Suborder Zeugloptera Suborder Dacnonypha Suborder Exoporia Suborder Monotrysia Suborder Ditrysia Still others do it like this: Order Lepidoptera Suborder Rhopalocera Suborder Heterocera Or like this (also CBIF, on a different page(????)): Order Lepidoptera Suborder Glossata Suborder Zeugloptera Suborder Aglossata Suborder Heterobathmiina Yet other claim this is the right classification: Order Lepidoptera Suborder Jugatae Suborder Frenatae Suborder Rhopalocera Whats even worse is that although some systems use the same suborders, they put diferent SuperFamilies and Families in them than other systems do... Im confused CRY Anyways, thanks a lot for your help Richard !! :o) LOL about those watercolor painting hehe ;o) Have agreat day, Jeroen

I do the same as Brenda (Nilla), but always set the compression to 5 which seems to be enough. Although my thumb are only 150x99, i guess for 200x200 youll need a bit of extra compression :o) If you use photoshop listen to Niutek :o)

Wow thank you all for your feedback, its much appreciated !! :o) I guess the colors arent very popul;ar eh ? lol I started off with a kinda silver look but missed the color and so went for this. Maybe i should reconsider though ;o) The top banner will be replaced though, im not that happy with it, also the spider on the right isnt really typical for this site anyways. It quite hard to keep the site simple and easy to navigate and at the same time give plenty of info that is easy to find. But i think i did a reasonable job at that :o) Its far from finished though, and although i have and 'alphabet search' page already there will probably be a real search function as well. The photo section will be separated from the info section but still kinda connected, in part through word-links that lead to the 'alphabet search' pages. My aim is to get as many insect on there as i can, if possible all... but thats pretty impossible i guess lol But im getting all the info on there i can find, although i might not have pics of them myself. So it might take some time before its finished. @Zacko: I kinda like the light blue, but i have no problem with it resembeling the swedish colors :D Sweden is imo one of the most beautiful and coolest countries !! :o) @Onslow: Thats why ill have a photo page as well, where people can look for bug that look like theirs :o) @dtp: Thanks, im not quite sure what you mean by image flip, but im gonna change the banner anyways :o) @cynlee: Hmmm maybe i should tone those colors down, there are quite bright... :o) @Tomdart: The image shown here is an example image of 'a coleoptera', the page leads to the suborders, then to the families and from there to the genera and the species each with example images and plenty of info (if i can find any). Im quite pleased you like the layout, i meant it exactly as you described it :o) @Nilla: Hi :o) Thanks for your opinion on the layout, i might indeed change the colors into softer ones... dunno about white though but ill see how it looks :o) @Thanks Doug, yep the color choices lol i might change them :o) Thanks for your opinion on the layout :o) @vlaaitje: You bet, its taking hours and hours just to come up withy the info of a couple of orders... and im gonna need additional info too and then the suborders, families, genera and species sigh might take me a few years lol Thank you all for your opinion and suggestions !! :o) Have a great day, Jeroen
