Tracking purposes. That sounds insidious, doesn't it? marketing and statisical tracking purposes can be gotten from the payment on purchases; having to provide this sort of info for a membership access( a free one) is just intrusion.

Valandar, I put your pieces on my wishlist, but the client wouldn't approve them(he's Verra Picky) Machineclaw, 450 cards is the first set. There are plans for reoccuring expansion sets. I have done the doubling(and tripling) by retexturing and using interesting camera angles, but eventually, its going to be obvious that I only have around 25-30 clothing models, even with transmapping.

I have all the stuff listed here. I have to illustrate 450+ cards and I don't have nearly enough clothing for Mike

I tried to download the update and unfortunately, it isn't an update for Stormguards. Its the update for Mystics. I wonder what is gong on at Daz with all the recent "mistakes"?

Billy, You don't seem to notice that your reference to "cut and paste" art was entirely insulting to a great number of people in this very forum. Perhaps you didn't intend to troll for flames, but that is the result of crtisizing Poser users. Art is an expression. It doesn't matter WHAT you use to create that expression. Truth be told, I have seen some STUNNING posters that in fact were made from magazine "cut and paste" and the resulting clips were used as a mosaic. Was this art? You bet your unwadded undies it was.

You can pretty much draw a line through the middle of the 3D elitists based on age. The younger the "artist" the more inclined to be prejudiced. It's like the High School Syndrome "Mine is better than yours, so there". (Of course, my high school syndrome analogy is a much diluted one of the hypothesis that all children are pack animals, but I digress). The ONE thing that they all miss is the whole POINT. Art is an expression of self in a given medium. A voice that communicates an idea from one person to another. Not everyone will "hear" the message, because the message was not intended for them. Others will be profoundly touched by it. The ones that loudly proclaim its not art because of "this" are merely deaf to your voice(either by design or deliberation). I can also guarentee that anyone who espouses elitism on so basic a premise as "tools" has not studied art. And let me clarify that taking an "art" class does not mean they have studied art. A large portion of the people who have taken an art class seem to believe this gives them a licence to judge art, which merely proves MY point. If you must judge an image/illustration/painting/print and use the excuse of TOOLS to discount it, then surely you are deliberately deafening your ears to the message. My two pennies.

The**(extraneous and improper usage, try using "A" to preceed the subject)** stroller looks down to realize that the invention of cross walks**(incomplete thought or dangling participle), and wonders how(Incorrect usage of elipsis. See Strunk and White for acceptable usage)...the Old Folks home cheated the(poorly implemented context. Leave "the" out of the sentence)** old people now causing a mop**("mop" or "mob"?)** riot in the streets,(Comma splice. see Strunk and Whites again) were cheated out of thier daily prune juice, thus becoming**(Incorrect verb tense and usage)** hostile! The**(we covered this one in the first paragraph)** stroller, realizing the cop was much to little too late**(Comma splice, verb tense conflict), to escape mop(Again, "mop" or "mob"?)** justices**(incorrect plural usage), decides to publically sue the cop for negligence and lack of duty(redundancy), and in the same forum( mixed metaphor. First we were on the street, now we are in a forum.)** which said accusations took place. Scenerio 3 would be super, if we could all EVER...LIGHTS FLASH...GOD SPEAKS...ANGELS CRY...get to it! (I count only two, must be the new math, eh?) Its still an honest missunderstanding that was overexagerated and dissorderly dissmissed. hawkfyr said --->Aww c'mon guys,..Lets leave him alone. We're obviously dealing wth someone who brought a knife to a gunfight. Oh I dunno, I find his limited spelling ability and his Mixed Metaphor a la Ricky Ricardo garble mildly amusing. Though I have to admit his limited grasp on basic writing mechanics is rather grating on the nerves.

Alright, here is a positive contribution. 1) I concur completely with Management. No Spam URLS or ADVERTSING of Pyramid schemes in the forum. It makes the whole forum seem trashy. 2) LEGITIMATE advertisements for commerically available products should be posted in the Product Showcase. 3)Any links to Pyramid schemes or websites with ENDLESS commerical or Top 100 site/Voting pop-up windows should be deleted without warning in every instance in every forum. Posters should be informed that it will not be tolerated. Repeated postings from the same member should be banned. 4)Members who post across several forums with the intention to disrupt or circumvent a Mod decision should be banned. There, you have my POSITIVE opinion on your dilemma. Any more inspid and benign aspersions to my character to delight and astound me pertaining to my opinion?

Cain blathered->So, now that we're all down to earth(Meaning there is no Admin. Control here at Renderosity to affect such flamers)would you please leave this thread, as grand as it is, with anyone you know that agrees with you, untill you or any one you know that agrees with you feel like taking a much more posotive stance toward this subject? Maybe then there be a bit of peace around here! First all that sentence made NO sense. However, after careful study, I think I deciphered it to mean that unless I agree with you, then my comments aren't positive and I have been dismissed. That certainly sounded like an Imperial Decree to me. I was being nice. Until the Mods tell me I am out of line or lock this thread, I can certainly post my opinion here if I choose. Even if my opinion doesn't agree with yours. It isn't rocket surgery to infer that all of the people in this thread not only have different opinions that you, they have been exceedingly patient with what amounts to a temper tantrum any 3 year old would be proud to claim. Learn from your mistake. Suck it up and move on. And for Pity's sake Grow Up.

Cain, no offense but you aren't winning friends and influencing people here. In fact you are building quite a reputation as a trouble maker with a target on his forhead and a sign that tells every other person "TARGET PRACTICE" THe more you go on and on the more you attract people to join in on the public thrashing. So you feel that you were wronged and the Moderator was biased. Well, welcome to the club, dude. Everyone here feels that at least once. It isn't a special or unique position. Maybe your URLS were cool. A different approach WOULD have been my choice, had I wanted to get positve results. Face the fact man, you screwed up and then you went out of your way to piss off TPTB. Reiterating the subject over and over will result in the SAME EFFECT. Learn from this experience. Mend fences if you can, cause you don't want the moderators marking you for the "moron factor", if they haven't already.

Gee Cain, just cause you have an opinion, it doesn't mean that everyone will agree with you. I believe that Renderosity can run their site however they want. If they don't want spam in their fora, you can't change it. Unless, of course, you want to foot their hosting and bandwidth bill. An Imperial decree on what you think qualifies for an acceptable reply to your post won't help either. You'll just encourage everyone to grind on you.
