Worth a look if only to get an insight to how to find the particle emitter and how David Brinnen does volumetric clouds in Bryce 7

Well I got Bryce 6 for $6 dollars..from Daz. and the following two upgrades to 6.1 and 6.3 were free.
As Bryce 6 is presently selling for $34 under the present offer I guess someone might see it as a bargain..

Quote - I'm afraid I know nothing about Macs. However, I think DAZ/Studio has or will have a 64bit version.
There is already a 64 bit version of Daz Studio3.

Quote - I have just bought a machine with the i7 processor, so I was wondering how it might work with Bryce, and whether the Pro version and Standard version differ in how many CPUs they recognise.
While I think about it, is Bryce 7 going to be 64bit?
I don't think so..but why not find out over at Daz..there are several threads about it.Look through the beta testing threads

Whoa there!
I upgraded from 5.5 to Bryce 6 for $6 dollars..and all the subsequent upgrades were FREE..
I'm certainly NOT feeling cheated.
I don't even feel mad that I bought version 5 for $62 and v5.5 for $50 and they both ended up being given away free subsequently..
I think I got some bargains there.

Quote - Does Bryce 7 support multiple CPUs?
I only ask as the last version I used in anger was 5.0 which I think was single processor only.
I believe so.

I'm just getting cross in that thread in Daz by the idiots asking for the interface to become more like Vue or Carrara,To be MORE PROFESSIONAL instead of hobbyist..
Damn I like the interface the way it is..and the suggestion that because I'm a hobbyist I should only have the Standard version..
Grrrr!.Double Grrrr.
