An excellent free flowing one comes from Morphography. They call it the Flo Hair. It's free!Message edited on: 08/24/2005 15:42
Thread: Looking for a web site with clothes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, a lot of what I've seen available for Poser isn't exactly kosher from a Christian perspective. So many things for Poser emphasize the human body in a way that generally isn't acceptable to Christians. They believe that the human body is sacred because it(and the rest of the person) is made in God's image and, accordingly, should be treated with respect. Their idea of respect appears to stem from obsevations of how people react to each other generally. From what I've seen(and I've seen a lot), these beliefs attempt to promote the wellfare of society in general. They don't think that pictures of people partially dressed helps people treat each other better.
Don't get too hard on the guy's case, okay? He may have gone too far. I wouldn't know, since I wasn't there. That's my two cents.

Thread: Where Can I find a Bride Dress (clothing conform or dynamic)? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Attached Link: http://ggsposerjunction.net/poserjunction_downloads.html#Women's%20Clothing
Here is a dress that can be adapted into a wedding dress at Morphography. - http://www.morphography.uk.vu/dlv3qd.html - V3 Morphing dress is for dynamic use.Another place you might want to check for dresse that can be used as wedding dresses is GG's Poser Junction. Awhile back, somebody called Acadia posted a link to it in the forums. the only catch is that if this is a commercial project, the person who made those clothes want folks to ask her first before using her stuff. The url for her place is at the top of this post.

Thread: Really Cool Software for Your Poser Animations (Free!!!) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thread: An honest question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you're talking about secondhand software, I've seen folks sell their old copies to (online and offline)secondhand retailers without any apparent legal trouble. The only things the law(in the US) bans on this subject as far as I know are some clear no-no's such as either buying one original copy of the software and making copies to sell or give away or buying a legitimate copy, making a copy, and returning or selling the original. In most cases, as long as you do not do either of those things, you don't have to worry about selling an old copy. Some companies will try to restrict what you can do with your software concerning redistribution so you might want to check the legal agreement carefully before you take action. Usually, what they want you to do regarding reselling the software will be clear.

Thanks for posting this! This looks exactly like the kind of thing I was looking for. My only question is this: was anybody else able to finds a terms of use page or listing for the Wax software? It kinda bothers me that I'd didn't see one...
Thread: Waist length hair... who was looking? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey, neat link! Thankyou for posting that, Acadia! Those are some lovely models! I was looking for stuff like that for some time now. I hope the next time you go looking for something that you find exactly what you need and hope for. :)
Thread: Pose Converter? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Um, I haven't worked with MilHorse, but most of the time when the morphs aren't too different between two characters,(say like Posette and Vicky, for instance) I have been able to just apply the pose and adjust it to my needs. Mostly this has worked for things like arm, leg, and (if it it's from Poser default character to a DAZ one, not the other way around) facial poses. I'm guessing the same principle may apply here too. I hope that helps!

This really is very pretty, chohole. However, the right hand bottom corner looks a little empty to me. Maybe you could put a path at her feet or a tree slightly out of the frame? However, Ganthor is right. This really doesn't need much of anything. It's so pretty as it is!
Thread: I need some honest critiques on an image | Forum: Vue
That's not a bad start, Billygoat. However, you might want to change the camera angle. Perhaps you could try moving it to the right, lowering it a little and rotating it so that you are looking up at the house? Another thing you could try in tandem with the previous suggestion is placing the sun so that it is peeking out over a corner of the roof. Btw, I like the clouds behind the house and the water!
Thread: Vue or Bryce | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've used the demo version of Vue and loved it, but I have this to say for Bryce. I found it much easier to make my own models in Bryce than in Vue. Mind you, the lighting and atmosphere you can get out of Vue d'Eprit is gorgeous.
Thread: Guidelines :) | Forum: Fractals
I think the guidelines are well written. :) They really do seem to be very community minded!
