@fozzibear: The "C" button converts an object or model using booleans into a mesh. (See Objects Menu at top of screen.) If you have no booleans, the option is greyed out, and the "C" does not appear in Attributes.  It can take a while to complete, but the annoying part, once the conversion is complete, you are unable to adjust the booleans. 

If I hit "C" instead of "G",  only option is to wait patiently for the conversion to finish, then undo with Ctrl + z or Edit / Undo. I don't save often enough...

Anyway, back to the next challenge. I consider myself a writer, rather than a 3D artist, my preferred genre being Gothic Horror. As I've recently had a ghost story accepted for an anthology, Spirits Of The Night, shortly to be published by NetBound Publishing, (http://netboundpublishing.com) my challenge to you is "The Haunted xxxxxx." (you fill in location or object as your imagination decides. For example, The Haunted Graveyard, Forest, Castle etc.)

Although a ghostly apparition or entity may be included in the picture, (import or otherwise) this being a Bryce challenge, greater emphasis should be put into creating the haunting ambiance with Bryce lighting and atmospherics. For this reason, post work to be limited only to re-sizing the image to meet submission guidelines. I hope you will consider this challenge as worthy of you wonderfully talented artists and look forward to seeing some excellent work.

Wondering what has happened with the Bryce Challenge entry page for this month. I still see the entries for January and as closing date is fast approaching, I'm concerned my entry will not be in time.

Is it possible to export a Bryce scene for rendering with an external render engine? Say V-Ray or Blender Cycles for instance. I've never tried, wouldn't know how to go about doing such a dastardly action. Has anyone attempted such?

Some terrific Christmas card scenes. I found it very difficult to not vote for some, but I place these in the order in which I felt they best expressed the subject line. "Baby! It's cold outside!"

I had a similar problem, (I think) importing a human character in .obj format from Blender to Bryce, and the complete scene then into PhotoShop. I found a great improvement by importing the .obj file into Daz Studio 4 and then exporting directly into Bryce. Why this should work, I have no idea... Perhaps someone wjth more than my limited experience could add some enlightenment? 

I like the idea of the boat with crew. May I suggest the camera operator actually being on board the boat, so that only the bows and one or two crew members are visible in the foreground?

Love the colours and the sombre feel to the picture.

All OK on my paraplegic PC running Windows 2000. Downloaded 35MB and 7MB using Firefox 8 and run with  IVIVO media player.   Excellent animations too.  I am most impressed.
