my old forum's software Imagine is available from imagine3d.org I don't know if you have to join to dl it and it is totally unsupported except by the members of that forum...but we're a helpful lot and it's worth it.

I don't have/use Poser per se but I use props ( woth geomstripper) a lot so I'd think there should be an option to save as a .pp2 (prop) file.

There's a free app called PoseRay that will create 4 flavours of U/V maps in it's Materials Tab. Load the model and select the parts you wish to map (one at a time) in the Materials Tab and then click the UV Tab and you're off to the races. I has the option to save out in .bmp as well.

Go to the freestuff section and click on the Manage button, top right, and select upload. follow the prompts as always.

I just imported an .obj dodecahedron and cut it's top off with a Bryce cube. The thing to remember is the object you are altering has to be Positive in the attributes and the Cutter object(my cube) must be negative
