Truth is I have always liked architecture but I have no aspiration to be a carpenter. Though I would love to be able to design my own dream house. The problem is I don't know what it would be like. But yeah, it'd be great to design a community. Anything less would be kinda like manufacturing a portion of a complete product. It's like these houses I make are part of the whole. It is the artists that complete them. That is actually the greatest reward of making them is to see them in renders and see the conpleted final product. Billy

Thanks for the compliments. I am uploading it right now to the testers and Tuesday. If all goes well, I figure it will hit the market place in about 5 to 7 days. I hope.

Tuesday will get the model as she always does and if she textures it that will be up to her. There are many new features to this model and most of them are in the texturing. Though still not a texturer, I think I have made some advances in that direction. believe me! I am looking forward more to this hitting the marketplace than you are. It'll be a joy for me not to have to work on it anymore. :) Billy

stuff to do includes walls and grouping and finding a way to get a staircase in. Duh! I put in the second storey and forgot to plan the stairs :(
I also need to do textures here and there.
Thank you for the suggestions and I hope you all like it. It has been a real tough one, but I think it is going to be a good finished product.

WOW! nice pics of a wheel! I might do a little redesigning. but actually this wheel does have the post and it is above the table. It is very close to the table like in the second picture you supplied. Plus the render above is a "no shadows" render since the stuff is in the patio. It would require special lighting to render it inside the patio and the shadows would then make it obvious that it is slightly above the table surface. Thank you Dialyn Billy

Here is a picture of the potter's wheel and some of the accessories that go in the patio. The pose on posette isn't very good. It is a miracle that I got clothes on her sucessfully. The wheel was concocted by me and a friend. I wanted to make a older style wheel. Being as it is nearly impossible to find existing examples, we tried to make it simple yet functional. I hope we succeeded.

With luck I'll have another pic posted today with the fixed roof texture and hopefuly a better texture on the chimneys. I guess I made the maps too small on the chimneys. The maps in this pack are huge. I've been learning some new mapping techniques. Billy
