What kind of errors are you getting? Did you download all the formulas from the public UF Dbase? More info about Apophysis beta 2, click on the URL.Thread: Free stuff for Apophysis. | Forum: Fractals

Mark Townsend wrote: "For Ultra Fractal users I've supplied a modification of the flame formula which should render all parameters correctly (no more warnings...you can use all variations). The mod includes the symmetry parameter for transforms, and draws the flames with the same orientation as Apophysis (not upside-down). You should copy apophysis.ucl from the install folder to your Ultra Fractal formula folder, so that Ultra Fractal can find it. On the UPR tab of the Options dialog, with the "Flame Fractals" button down, in the Coloring algorithm section, the Identifier box should read "enr-flame-a" and the File box should read "apophysis.ucl". They should be the default on a fresh install but if you install over the top of the last beta then you'll have to change them manually."

Did you download all the formulae (ufm's, ucl's and uxf's) from the UF formula Dbase? If you have UF 3.0X do as follow: Options>>update public formulas>>full formula collection That should help you.

If you have a nice Apo-image, do the following: Edit>>copy as UPR (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) it in UF. But open UF before. That's all. Maybe you have to copy the apophysis.ucl in your UF formula folder before. This is for the Apo 2.0 Beta14. And join the Apo list for more background info.

What kind of software are you using? Ultra Fractal has a very large and comprehensive helpfile and inbuilt tutorial and there are many sites from UF-users with useful suggestions on 'how to create' anice fractal image.

If you haven't done so already you'll need to download the full formula collection. In Ultra Fractal select "Update Public Formulas" from the Options menu. In the dialog that appears make sure that "Full formula collection" is selected an click OK (you need to be already connected to the Internet for this to work). Now in Apophysis go to the "Flame UPR" tab of the Options dialog (from the Tools menu) and change "enr3.ucl" where it appears to "enr.ucl". Hopefully then everything should work OK.
