Quote - Â I assume you've tried a restart of Poser, possibly a reboot of the computer.
Yes

I just tried loading Bong and I don't have that problem. Which OS are you using?
Leopard 10.5.8

Quote - but they need to make all the scroll bars larger and not have them shrink as they do in the Library when there are a lot of runtime folders or items.
It's quite hard to get the scroll bar at times, and I'm tending to set things up in Poser 7 and then transfer to Poser 8 to finish off (or add P8 items). I just hope they get SR1 out soon to make things easier!

P8 seems to make more demands on the processor(s). I can leave P7 rendering (on Tiger) and work in Photoshop, but when rendering in P8 (on Leopard) other applications including Photoshop are sluggish. Checked Activity Monitor and P8 grabs as much as it can.

I think I'll wait for the service pack releases.

Quote - The "Actor Stats" button in the Poser Tool Box will tell you.
May I ask why you need to know?
It was so I could check when using your Wardrobe Wizard.

When I choose render Settings the sketch setting panel flashes up briefly before the Firefly panel loads.
Anyone else found this?

NB
Scroll wheel works with parameter palette but not with library palette. Have to use the bar on rhs of library palette and it's difficult to (a) see and (b) use. Someone suggested using up and down keys to move through the icons but it doesn't work on my machine. (Mac G5 ppc OSX Leopard)

Here's what Adobe say:
No. Upgrade pricing is available only if you have one of the qualifying earlier products listed on the upgrade eligibility page of the product you wish to purchase and can provide the serial number for that product during installation.
Creative Suite Premium or Standard; Creative Suite 2 Premium or Standard; Production Studio; and Macromedia Studio do not qualify for upgrade pricing on standalone products such as Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4, or Dreamweaver CS4."
So it can't be done.
The only other version I have of Photoshop is Photoshop 7; but that's not in their upgrade list either.
I shall continue with my CS2 version.

I've rearranged the rhs so that the parameters are docked above the library; this suits me better. I still prefer the side-by-side arrangement of Poser 7 though; a lot less scrolling!

Had a message from a friend in a Design house. He also has CS2 and bought the Photoshop upgrade alone. When installing the installer said it couldn't find the application - it was asking for a version of Photoshop, not the entire Suite. When he typed in his Photoshop serial number it was rejected. He says there's info on Adobe site that confirms he can't upgrade from CS2 (full) to CS4 Photoshop; he has to upgrade from a version of Photoshop.
I'll tell him what you said.
