Anton, do their wings fold up to a rest position? This was unclear from the info on BBay & your pics. BTW, they look great!
Thread: what is the best way to render? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Don't forget to change the focal length of the camera you're using to render (main or posing, hopefully). The default is very wide-angle (25mm), but a more normal focal length for close portrait work would be 55mm, as some wiser person than i posted somewhere in this forum.

These are called Easter Eggs! i love it. Will have to try these others. A LOT of software companies put Easter Eggs in their products. Good one: option-click the little picture at the top of the tools palette in Adobe ImageReady 3.0, and not only will it turn into the rubber ducky that the Adobe programmers love, but if you then do Help->About ImageReady 3.0... you'll get the startup screen--but it'll say, "Adobe Pet Wolverine" with a pic of a wolverine in it!

Yeeks, the Treemaker thing works. Now, to figure out what i'm going to do with a cube covered in green grass... The fur seems a bit thin, i must say.

Also check www.bbay.com (a store). They have an eighteenth-century-type wig, morphing cuff boots, an Elizabethan woman in gown, and perhaps more. High quality stuff, generally.Thread: Allie's site for transmapped long hair and/or Confuscious site | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Mr. Jaager, sir, i was trying to make a tattoo run across the seam which goes over the top of the arm. Do you think counting the polygons along the side will help? Are there any hints as to stretching and shrinking you can give? Many thanks in advance! --Nan

This is a very nice effort. i concur with HybridSoul's comments, and add some other small items, most of which can be fixed in post. Her right hand could be a bit more relaxed on the divan, not as stretched. Breasts are defying gravity. The edge of her panties, at the crease in the groin, has slipped under her thigh. This whole crease isn't quite right. It wouldn't extend all the way up to where her arm is resting, and it wouldn't be quite so round. Her left upper arm also needs a bit of smoothing to take the kink out of it. The open book has its spine broken! The librarians will be mad. Make sure the reflections & shadows & objects all blur a bit as they recede from the foreground. This will help give focus to the figure. It's hard to see it all on my screen, but i will make one compositional comment: try not to have her smack in the middle of the picture. i would crop either the bottom or the top of the picture, or move the POV a bit more top or bottom. Also, all the motion is very horizontal and vertical, except for her, which gives the picture a very serene feel. However, you have a wonderful opportunity to play with the sky, which you haven't taken yet! How about some rising planets or something? Thank you for sharing your hard work with us! --Nan

Thread: What is the latest news on Poser 5 and Bryce 5? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Corel mentions "releasing new versions of Corel KnockOut masking software, Corel Painter, Bryce and KPT" within the year, but that's it. There's a lot of corparate blah-blah in the press releases (about what one would expect). Still, considering how badly managed Corel has been at times, it makes me nervous for favorite tools like Bryce and KPT. --Nan
