What are you parenting the pants to? Try parenting them to the hip of your character if you aren't doing that already.

The down side is you can't do dynamic clothes or hair with Poser 4 and there are less material and lighting options. Plus the firefly renderer in Poser 5 and 6 is better.

I would download the latest drivers anyway and install them. Even a month or two out of date might make the difference. When I got Poser 6 out of the box it was running horribly, I couldn't do anything with it. My video card is an Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 and so I went to the Nvidia website and got the most recent drivers. Even though I had just updated the drivers a month or two back, they already had a new set of drivers. After updating the drivers I haven't had a problem with Poser 6 since then.

I have an Nvidia GeForce 5200 and haven't noticed any problem with the slider bar either. It does the wipe as fast as I can move the mouse.

Good point about saving it in a lossless format. Maxx, does a .png also contain an alpha channel or just what is it? If I look at a .png in Paint Shop Pro, the background is missing.

The sky is a single sided square with the cloud node attached. (3d textures) Make sure you use a single sided square, the two sided square gives you an odd checkerboard pattern unless you fiddle around with the displacement. Single sided squares are just easier to use for backgrounds.

See if you can raise the tip of her nose slightly, and also expose more of the nostrils. Just a very minor tweak on the nose. Also add a birthmark under the right eye and another one between the left eye and ear.

Actually I don't think Mr. Sapient ever gave us what his render settings were,
or even if he had enabled raytracing in his render settings.
