Thanks everyone. It's probably the lighting after all cause the are cute Poser. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to lighting and the various texture settings. Going to have to track down the manual and some tut's on that I guess. I adjust the textures as soon as I import to Bryce, build the rest of the scene, and then do the lights. The fairies are lit by six lights in a hemisphere and a textured parallel light to simulate reflection off the water, I think the textured light washes them out. You can see it on her legs, but it just looks wierd everywhere else.

Searched free stuff and the forum, no free deer anywhere. Guess I'm heading to DAZ to price the buck. Saw that it's 1.99 in the platinum club, knew I should've joined when they ran the start up sale back then. Geep, i'm a he, thanks for the classes, and my fridge is full of beers. I'm for the Biker Scout's Blaster. It's clean, compact and able to get the job done. There are plenty of other big gun's out there if anyone wants to lay waste to a city. Ha! I was right! Read the rules a while ago so I was confused when I saw the splat on the Front Page 'inviting' us to vote. We were given the chance to vote on the AOM's. The staff at 'rosity is given the chore of selecting the best of who we have chosen. I know I'm going to regret this but, when I first found 'osity several months ago, I read the rules and whatnot for the contests. I could be way off on this but I think it said that AoM was voted for by the members, and the AoY was voted out of the AoMs of the year,for by a crack team of admins and moderators. I can understand if this was their intent and they put up a poll to give us an opportunity to let them know how we want them to vote. Beleive it or not that is how the leader of the free world is elected. All that hooplah about voting and its really the electorial college that decides. The PTB should have handled and been more clear with the situation, but I think this was how they inteaded it all along. We got to 'elect' nominees through out the year as AoM's, and they select the final 'winner'. Course' I could be wrong.

Why do you want to add more RAM? I'm running Poser 4.03 on a 300Mhz 62Mb ram system with between 1G to 300Mb free on the hard drive. Never had any problem with Poser. Its kinda nice actually, I can bend an elbow during a commercial and the screen finishes refreshing just in time for the next commercial break. :) I'd be downloading Vicky 3 right now but really, what's the point I can only use my computer for a few hours each night... Get home from work turn on computer, fix dinner, open Poser and load Vicky3, eat dinner, bend an elbow, watch the news, save file, goto bathroom, shut down computer, goto bed. I think this was the first post I saw that doesn't complain about V3. Happy Holidays everyone!
