Your opinion is valid and respected, Allerleirauh. I'm in no position to cough up 10 bucks a site either. Equally, though, my hd is choking on my own rabid downloading of free stuff (including some of your work) in the hopes of being, someday, talented enough to do it justice. Each will make a decision that best suits the circumstances for them. Personally, I admire you, Roshigoth and others who aren't going to let this weasel shove you around. The plan that I outlined, and Winslow so efficiently elaborated upon is for those that do. Cheers! :)

the person has a deadline in which to prove they'd used the file themselves (in the form of a piece of artwork). That might, conceiveably, show their honour. I strongly doubt that the sh*thead(s) in question have any artistic talent whatsoever. The've just seen how to make an easy buck off of the talent and sweat of others. 'nuff from me.

Upon reading LoboUK's "read me" .txt for the Knight 2000 figure, I've discovered that there are MORE people I should be thanking/asking permission from: In answer to your question, Ghost, George Deep did the shoulder pads (which can also be found as a seperate download on the Free Stuff pages); DD did the main bodysuit figure: "phil" Hosukai made the boots; WhiteCrow3D made the shield and helmet: and LoboUK put them all creatively together in such a way as to inspire the character pictured above. The "read me" goes on to say that the file is shareware and that, since I'm not selling it or pretending that it's my own, "my" version can be sent to the 3DCC downloads pages as well! I'd have no problem paying the prices you quote, Cyb. You do really great stuff! One minor point, though, concerning the brazier (first object). The section at the red orb looks a touch unstable, sort of like a universal joint? Fabulous modelling, nonetheless :) ~ Dave
