I bought a graphics package suite that included Poser. I didn't touch it for months because I thought it was useless and pointless. Was I wrong or what? Poser is one of the coolest programs I have ever seen - and definitely the most addictive! As a 2-dimensional artist, it helps me envision what I want to put on paper. I am terrible at figure drawing, so this is the logical conclusion to learning how. Did I mention it's cool and addictive?

I agree with Ghost, maybe tone down his muscles a little. The artwork of him doesn't depict him being THAT big! I definitely like the fur!

By the way, I added standard human male arms to Anton's Dragon. Worked pretty well. I'll posted a pic of this in the gallery if anyone wants to see how it turned out.

Thread: Changing 3dmf format to dfx or... | Forum: Bryce
Bryce cannot read or import 3dmf files. I guess there are different file types under that standard. I'm downloading 3dexplorer from xdsoft, so we'll see if it works (thanks archlite). Polytrans and Design Workshop are the only other programs I know of that will export 3dmf files, and Polytrans is expensive. Keep in mind that 3dmf is a Mac file standard, and Windows does not do a good job handling it.

Cool character, but drow are usually depicted as having black skin and white hair. If she's undead, I think grayish skin would be best. My only other complaint would be her breasts. Way too big for any kind of elf. Nice work, though.

I don't know how you can do such wonderful work in RD. I hate that program. Very good job!

More about griffons. The fossils were found high up on a vertical wall near a cave of fossilized eggs in a gold ore vein. Hence, griffons were thought to have the body of a loin, head of an eagle, and must have flown to die way up there. Because of the gold, they were thought of as guardians of rare treasures. Somebody please make me a griffon.....

I asked Davo a while back if he was interested in making a D&D style beholder, but he had other projects in mind. I don't really have the software to make a decent body for one, or I'd do it myself. If you don't know what it looks like, I can email samples to you. Also, as of yet, no one has made a high-quality poseable knight in full plate armor. I've tried, but making it poseable is the really hard part. Have enough ideas yet? Wampyir, check out www.noxgeo.com/ww3d or www.home.wxs.nl for military stuff.

Found it! http://www.crebergallery.it/utenti/barbaglio/HomeENG.html The textures that come with it are lousy, but the model is pretty good, though non-posable.
Thread: Nightmare (wip) | Forum: Bryce
I like it. I've been trying to make a nightmare in poser, but the mane and tail look lame. I think fiery hooves and eyes would finish it nicely.

She is perfect in my opinion. As a true artist (like most of us), I guess we have to learn to shut out the opinions and criticisms we don't need. The fact that you've had so many responses at all means Ayesha is an incredible model, whether the comments are good or not-so good.
