Did you model that? Available?
Yes I modeled it a few months ago(except the rubber bands, they're a stand in I 'borrowed' from another model) its a WIP ,if you're interested I can finish it up with some improvements( dynamic bangs and flys maybe) and make it available.

(too late to edit post) I still have the model before conversion, this pic shows how it was constructed.

Jafo, are the 'tails separate mesh? Parented to head?
Yes, there's a medium rez disc at the end of the rubber bands, the model is a conforming figure. The other parts of the 'head hair' model began as dynamic but I converted it to geometry with a hair-to-mesh utility I downloaded a few years ago, its pretty high-rez but my 6yr old system doesn't have a problem with it.

Here's an unfinished model I was working on a couple months ago, before I meandered off onto something else..... Frame-grab from head turn animation.
Only the pigtails are dynamic(calc time about 3seconds/frame each piece).

@ero Looking good, you have the patience of a pope. Have you checked to see how well motion files/ poses that were made for V4 work with your figure? The reason I ask is I have gobs of animations I've made with V4 over the years, would love to be able to just drop your girl into existing scenes. BTW, how tall is your girl in feet/inches? My girls range from 5' to 5' 7".

Thread: slightly soapy water | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
EventMobil posted at 6:42PM Wed, 27 September 2017 - #4166599
Any suggestions on the foam?
Probably some more SSS in it?
ย The good thing with this shader is, if you bend the figure forward and down, and for example one arm enters the water surface, the shader will automatically remove the foam from all parts which are under water, remove the specularity from the skin the same way, so the artist does not need to care about such details.
The reason I bump this subject back to the top is that I have a question:
"the shader will automatically remove the foam from all parts which are under water" .I'm assuming that water is geometry and not some arbitrary height?
Could this not be used with displacement also? Like maybe having displacement over an entire figure or part and have it canceled out, tapered off or reversed in areas such as when a bra-strap, waste band or other geometry makes contact, simulated fat bulges maybe?.... Just wondering....

Thread: Visme maps for V4? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you EnglishBob , that's the first place I looked, they aren't there. I reinstalled all the V4 packages and for some reason the visme maps's aren't being installed. I went ahead and edited one of the visme maps's for another character got a reasonable result for the background figures I'm using, guess I'll leave it at that, Thanks again for the reply. :O)

Thread: Poser 11 bullet physics on figures | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Its been awhile since I messed with bullett physics but IIRC you cant apply it to the entire figure(else it melts), you have to paint weight maps on areas you want to jiggle or sag set the rest of the figure/object at zero or one (whatever none is).. Seems like the default would be none, but it isnt.

Thread: I heard there was a way to make injection poses in poser 11 without needing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
OK I'm confused... So the morph injection is basically just an easier refined version of the old export and load full body morph, and not a way to inject a complete character(dials and settings ) into a basic/blank figure??

Thread: Feature requests for Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Would it be possible to have simulations calculate Nth frames(like every 4th frame, a simple interpolated drape would suffice in most cases) then hold position for UN-calculated future frames? With the option to recalculate 'this' frame/ 'these' frames without re-running the entire calculation ? Physics are great but not necessary or over done in a to b- animation, I just want to get from point A to point B employing the straightest/simplest/quickest course possible. Besides that, think about the time saved by calculating only 1/10th of the frames, then making any necessary 'spot' corrections... Carry on...

Thread: Uninstalling Windows 10 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello Arrow1
Like you I got fed up with the problems I experienced with Poser after upgrading to Win10. Other than the library problems I also had apparent cross-talk between PP11 and PP2014(noticing the library icons in 2014 sometimes changed to those of PP11, among other anomalies). I did a full format and reinstalled Win7(with latest updates from both Windows and Adobe), but this time I installed PP11 first then PP2014(not 100% positive this cured all the issues but), Its been about a month and I haven't experienced any problems what-so-ever with either program(including the library)... I'm lovin it...
Y'all have a great day.
